Chapter 53: SHOCK

DeLorna slowly opened her eyes as the sunlight penetrated her eyes.

Suddenly she stood up and looked around as the event of the day before rushed into her head.

Suddenly she stood up from the bed at full speed wanting to go out but soon stopped in her tracks.

She realized something. She wasn't in Jefferson's room, she was in another room.

A room she knew not the owner of. She remembered she was feeling a strong sense of sleep yesterday and slept off immediately after she finished eating.

She hoped to wake up and follow Jefferson to the banquet.

But then she guessed he must have left her to sleep when he discovered she was sleeping.

She knew she had to apologize for missing the banquet and going together with him.

Though she was sure he would forgive her.

What bothered her the most was how she had come to this place. She remembered well that she had slept off in Jefferson's room.
