I walked into the living room after spending the evening with Anita. It was over a week since the accident and I was back on my feet. My wounds had healed completely and the aches had stopped.

I heard roaring laughter from the front porch before I even opened the door. I could tell the triplets were having an amazing time. On getting inside, they were watching a sitcom. I intended to just go to my room without being noticed.

I turned and saw Brody beckoning to me. I walked over to him and smiled at both him and Carson.

“Where did you go?” he asked.

“She went to see Anita,” Carson responded, giving me a side glance.
