Çhapter 5

LAURA

 My phone rings for the fourth time tonight, thank goodness I placed it on vibration , I walk quietly and slowly down the stairs , I'm not afraid my parents might find me they probably are sleeping like logs of woods by now , they are always exhausted everynight after a day's work at the office  the only worry I have is Bruce, I can tell he's up playing video games , I don't want him ratting me out to my parents 

    I make a little squeaky sound on the last stair 

 "Damn, the floorboard must be loose"

I look up the stairs waiting for anyone to show up anytime soon after few seconds of waiting and no sign of anyone I proceed to open the door quietly,

     It's 14 past 11 I mentally calculate the time id have to comete the luring, the killing and rushing back home 

 "I should be done by 3"

  

 Once I'm down the road I hail a cab and show him the address

 "You going to one of those rich kids party?"

I look at the cab man through the mirror, and why would he be interested in my night?

 "Yes I am"

He looks at me behind for a while before turning back to the wheel

 "Be careful you know, wierd things go on there"

 I perk up my ears at the mention of wierd things , this seems to be getting interesting

 "How wierd ?"

I ask, not showing my interest 

"For starters people go missing and are found days later , and most kids up there are nothing but wayward judging by your looks I don't think you fit into being one of those dangerous kids"

 "Thanks for the tips"

 He focuses back in his driving as I smile inwardly, I guess there's more to people in this town than I think, and did he just say I don't fit into being one of the dangerous kids? I won't agree with that

I highlight from the cab,  i walk towards the house it's huge , I see couple of people goofing around, some drinking and others I walk on in wondering if I dressed odd

 "You are here to kill not for party Laura" I remind myself

"Hello , gorgeous"

I leap in fear jumping away from whoever was behind me, 

 "Calm down, I won't bite "

 I turn back at the recognition of the voice,  I brighten up smiling , 

 "Aren't you the boy?"

 "Yes, and by the boy do you mean the one that cried into your arms like a child?"

We laugh in unison, im taking advantage of the situation hoping edna would find me anytime soon

 "Why are you here? " I ask him

 " I should be the one to ask you that question, and why do you keep taking down to me I'm older"

 I cross my hands over my chest , grinning I ask him

 "I'm a fresher in the town's school, and judging by your looks you should be too"

 He laughs aloud, stumping a foot on the ground, I stare at him turning pink with embarrassment, I wish I never started this conversation, I look around awkwardly to see people stealing glances at me, I stare at him hoping he stops his sarcastic laugh anytime soon, luckily for me after few seconds of crazy laughs, and pure disgrace he stops to a low giggle

 "Did you just call me a fresher? , I'm in my third year gorgeous"

 I'm startled for a while , I compose myself making my surprise with sternness , I access him from head to toe, he seemed too good to be true his accent, his hair, his face not to talk if that well built strong body, I swallow hard trying not to drool, what is wrong with me I came here for a totally different reason

 "You seem to space out, am I that good looking?"

 He asks as he raises a brow , I watch as he leans into me, he's probably teasing me for calling him a fresher but what could I do it wasn't my fault I took him for one, he looks so hot and stunning 

"Claws of her Arthur she's mine"

I look back to see Callie headed in my direction , 

 "You know this wierdo?" I ask pointing to the guy

 "Everyone knows Arthur Laura, his father owns the town's school"

 I gulp even harder, he isn't just hot, he's freaking wealthy, he smirks at me moving away to stand in an upright position,

 " Sorry Arthur she's mine now claws off, go find yourself another pawn "

  I look at Callie for a while , she seems to know this Arthur guy so well I'm beginning to think there might  be something they have  in common 

"Don't mind him, and don't get too close to him he devours cute girls like you"

 I nod trying to grap a meaning out if what she said, devours as in eat? Is this some kind of occult code, he isn't a vampire is he? , I tense up as I feel her intertwine  fingers with me 

 "What the duck is wrong with this wierdo?" I ask mumbling in my mind , I guess she also devours cute girls like me

  "What kind of party is it? I just picked up a random dress"

 She looks at me carefully paying attention, to every fabric in my body

"It's fits just well for the occasion"

I shrug , just fine wasn't what I expected but I can't blame her I mean who wears shorts and polo to a party ? But that's me dressing like a male has ways been my thing, she walks me into the house , my jaw drop in awe seeing a lot of things , people are drinking, smoking and not to talk of the various makeout sessions , is this what the cab man talked about ? Yet it makes me wonder how he knows,. Down to business I need to be back home by 3.

   I rub on her knuckles to get her attention, she turns to me , I stick my finger into my mouth licking it seductively, she seems to get the message as she pulls me towards a room, we both go in as she locks the door behind us

 "Whose room is this?" I ask in the most seductive yet innocent tone

 "A friend's, let's say that's one of the advantages of being in the inner circle"

 I watch as she loves closer placing a peck on my lips, I hold a tight grip on the bed as she kisses me, the urge to strangle bed right here and now is hard to control, she pause for a while, looking me in my eye she fondles my breast wanting to see my expression , I feel greater urge to kill her and get it over with, I push her off and pin her down to the bed

 "Fiesty , I like it"

I bite on my lip so hard that I bleed as I think of the best method to get it over with, after all possible evaluations I realize I might have picked a wrong night to deal with this,  there is a sole witness ARTHUR, 

 "Fuck" I scream out loud feeling rage surge through me" 

She must have taken my exclamation as a sign of wanting her, she smashes her lips into mine even harder, i try toobe away from her but her force is too strong , I push her off but there's something odd , her eyes the cloud of her eyes keeps switching between dim and bright blue, 

  I panick for a while

 "What are you?" I ask with a fear filled tone, 

 She stands from the bed moving closer, I take a step back as I see her eyes full of nothing but lust , my eyes shift from her eyeballs to her fingers , wait are those claws!!!!!  I try to run but she pins me down , she fondles my nipples with those clawlike finger

 "Get away from me you monster" I kick, and scratch but all seems to have no effect, I tryoving away fro.her but my body gives another command , I can feel the wetness between my legs and the arousal within me"

  The door opens with a loud band as I see two people a guy and a woman both rush into the room, i scream for help but they both seem to be in no haste , 

   The  guy pours out a substance at Callie as she yelps in pain an moves to the farther corner of the room aways from us , the woman moves forward to me forced open my mouth and pours the same substance into my mouth, I kick continuously at nothing but the air as I feel intense pain and burning up in my throat and abdomen then finally I black out to see both people smiling at me
