“I support that,” Susan agreed and attempted to get back into the bus. To avoid the General Manager disapproving their request, the team disagreed with her.

“No, you are his secretary. He may need you to write the report.”

Just as they expected, he smiled and took a step to walk away, Susan got the message and disembarked at once. Then, she announced, “I give up. I would rather not be the Jonah in your boat.”

They laughed loudly and one of them teased, “The Jonah has stepped off, boss. Can we leave?”

He smiled softly and looked at Silas, and inquired. “Do you think it is safe?”

Before Silas could respond, the staff members chorused, “It is safe, boss.”

“Okay. Be careful.”

“Thank you, boss.”

He left at once, while Susan stayed back and watched them leave.
