Kate and Liam retired back upstairs, as soon as they got into the room; Liam pulled her from behind and gave her a back hug.
Kate smiled; ''what's wrong?” It was so out of the blues so she wondered if anything was wrong with him.
''No, let's just stay like this.” He whispered as he buried his head in the crook of her neck, his eyes closed.
Kate held his hand around her waists as she listened to his heartbeat.
''Was work hectic?” she asked and she felt him nod slightly.
''So sorry, you need to have enough sleep else you might have a migraine tomorrow.” Kate turned around to hold his face and stare at him. Liam pouted and hugged her again, drawing her in. She laughed when she noticed he was hugging her as though they just met after ten years of being separated.
