Chapter Forty Two: Nathaniel Enters the Palace.

NATHANIEL'S POV

It wasn't long after I woke up, when everyone had gotten up too after the spell had worn off. Guess it's part of the process involved in getting the food to the palace.

We checked the goods packed and began to arrange the goods carefully. The boat sailed for almost an hour and then it anchored.

We carried all the goods across the border. Some giants stood in the middle of the pathway, the hefty ones threw us on their backs and went into the tree one by one.

Immediately, they took me and crossed, the little effect the magic had on me wore off finally and I fully realized, we were in a cave, a deep and dark cave.

I saw others being carried in the same manner too, they looked more worn out from the effect of the spell than I was but they seemed quite used to it.

I kept silent, staying with them as we wheeled our cargo further into the dimly lit cave to meet those purchasing the merchandise.
