CHAPTER FOUR

Roseanne eyes flew open to see what’s going on, but her view was blurry due to the tears on her eyes, all she could hear was the students murmuring noise.

“He isn’t supposed to be around today “

“I might faint right now, his finesse has to studied for real”

“He’s too handsome to be human”

“The cold aura coming from him “

“He doesn’t interfere in bullying business so why now?”

The students’ murmurs filled the hallway as the tall and mean looking figure makes way to the middle of the hallway where Mandy is, the students keep making way for him hurriedly to avoid being used as another scapegoat.

“Were you about to shoot her now in the school?” Viggo asked as he removed his hand from his pocket to touch the tip of his nose.

Mandy kept her head down while shivering, she couldn’t bring herself to look at him in the eyes. Viggo scoffed at her attitude.

Mandy’s father might be one of the powerful low level mafia’s but Viggo’s father is the most powerful pow level mafia which gives him authority and power over all the low level students.

He moved closer to Mandy and grabbed her chin in anger, he slapped her across the face twice which made her fall on the ground with a bursted lips.

“The Lords are beginning to suspect us the low-level mafia’s for some minor cases and all you could do right now is to try and cause a murder case in the school? “Viggo shouted angrily as his veins popped up on his neck as he raised Mandy up against the wall and punched her twice in the stomach, she gasped and shut her mouth up together to stop herself from screaming.

He threw her to the ground and pressed his booth on her head which made her scream out loud, Catherine and Sasha tried to rush to her but the glare they received from Viggo made them freeze on their spot.

He removed his booth from her face when he got satisfied with the amount of blood coming out of her mouth and with the way she was bleeding from her head. He kicked her in the tummy which made her land far from him.

She spat out blood as she bled from the mouth, she stood up while feeling pains all over her body and she knelt down quickly as Viggo walked slowly to her with a deadly glare.

“I’m sorry boss I didn’t give it much thought” Mandy said as her swollen face remain fixed to the ground.

“I don’t care the way you treat anyone below you but do your shits outside school lowkey till the Lords takes their eyes off us for now” Viggo said as he spats on her face.

“Understood?”

‘Understood sir’ Mandy said as she put her palm on her eyes that Viggo spat on.

Viggo made to walk away but stopped to look at Roseanne who keeps groaning on the ground and looking all tattered and dirty. He scoffed and walked out of the hallway with students making way for him to pass without trying to add to his anger.

The students started going to the various lecture rooms since their fun had already been disrupted.

Riley stood up from the ground and rushed to Roseanne’s side, she helped her up and made her place her one of arms around her shoulder.

Roseanne groaned as she held her tummy with her other hand, tears roll down her eyes as she looked at Riley who won’t stop tearing up seeing her friend in that condition.

“I’m sorry I couldn’t help” Riley said as tears rolled down as her.

“It’s fine, there’s no way you could have helped me. They’ll only harm you too” Roseanne smiled lightly and groaned as she tried to stand on her own.

“Let’s go to the clinic and get you treated” Riley said as she held her tightly while taking their time to take each steps to the clinic.

They only had to walk a few steps out of the hallway before they got to the clinic.

Sasha and Catherine rushed to Mandy to help her up, but she pushed them off

“Why didn’t you do anything when he almost chopped my head off with his hell of a booth?” She snarled at them angrily

“We can’t possibly do anything to him, he’s above us and we can’t even go close to him” Sasha said as she bent down to help her up, but she pushed her away.

“Get the fuck away from me, how could he do that to me? His father only ranked higher than my dad by one fucking rank, who does he think he his ?” Mandy shouted as she ruffled her hair angrily as she glared at both Sasha and Catherine.

“You should have said that to his face then” Catherine said angrily.

“What did you just say to me bitch” Mandy said as she tried to get up on her feet to slap her, but she almost fell back to the ground, but Sasha held her to stop her from falling.

Mandy readjusted her arm properly on Sasha’s should and glared at catherine.

“Thank your stars am not strong right now I would have you my second scape goat” Mandy said angrily which made Catherine scoff silently, she tried to talk back at Mandy, but Sasha signaled to her with eyes not to talk.

Catherine sighed “I’m sorry” she apologized

“Sorry for yourself” Mandy rolled her eyes at her which Catherine scoff silently.

“What will you do about that loser?” Sasha asked as she helped her walk.

“She can’t eat her cake and have it, I’ll think of a perfect plan. She asked for death, and I’ll give it to her “Mandy said and smirked devilishly as Sasha and Catherine helped her out of the hallway.

Riley keeps on starting at Roseanne who’s still sleeping on the clinic bed, she falls asleep cause of the pill she was given while being treated.

The doctor informed her she would wake up soon, but it’s been close to four hours since she had been staring at her without leaving her side.

She saw Roseanne fingers moving and then she looked up to see her staring at her while smiling, Riley heaved a sigh of relief as tears rolled down her eyes.

“I’m sorry I couldn’t protect you … I couldn’t do anything and I could do was …watch her… beat you up “Riley said she held Roseanne’s hand tight with tears in her eyes.

Roseanne smiled at her weakly “we both know how things work in this school, so you interfering means signing your death contract also. So, stop crying and you should also try and get your neck treated it’s kinda red”

Riley rubbed her palms on her neck, and she felt the small sting from the wounded part. “That must be where catherine held my neck down, that daughter of a…” before she could complete her sentence Roseanne covered her mouth with her palm.

Roseanne groaned as she felt a little pain from her tummy with, she rushed to sit up so she could cover Riley’s mouth.

“What if someone heard you? “She asked as she glared at Riley who keeps making funny sounds with the way Roseanne covered her mouth. Roseanne released her mouth.

Riley sighed as she nodded her head.

“How are you feeling now? “She asked as she stares at them Roseanne with a worried look which made Roseanne smile as she’d the first person to ever get really worried about her.

“I’m feeling better and stop getting worried, I’ll be fine soon” she said as she smiles weakly at her

“You slept for close to four hours, I was worried you landed in coma “Riley said, and Roseanne laughed but stopped as she felt pains from laughing. She touched her plastered forehead and wince a little bit.

Roseanne wanted to rest back on the bed when realization hits her “wait …what? What says the time?” She asked as she started trying to remove the drip on her hand while Riley stared at her in confusion.

“What are you trying to do? Why are you removing the drip? You can leave now you’ve not been discharged yet and why are you rushing?” Riley asked as she tried to stop Roseanne, but she couldn’t.

“What says the time” Roseanne pants as tears threatened to fall from her eyes as she stares at Riley.

“This is just 5:36” riley said as she brought her phone out from her handbag, Roseanne saw her books on the shelf beside the bed and picked it.

She saw a slipper by her bedside and wore I hurriedly “that must be the clinic slippers “she thought, she tried to rush out but Riley stopped her with her arms widely opened.

“I can’t let you leave like this, you’re badly injured and you’re not yet okay. There’s no way am letting you leave now” Riley said as she frowns at her Roseanne.

“Do you want to see me dead or alive tomorrow?” Roseanne asked impatiently as she stares at Riley, who has a confused and puzzled look on her face.

“What do you mean by that?”

“I’ll explain to you later but for now I need to go” Roseanne said as she rushed out of the clinic while limping due to the pain she’s feeling from tummy.

“I still have few minutes to get home before the wedding” tears threatened to roll down her eyes as she continued limping to the school gate where she would board a taxi.

“Roseanne don’t cry, this is the last help you’ll be rendering to pa, and this is just a phase it will pass once Gerald decides it’s my turn to die” she said as she cleans the tears that roll down her cheeks.

She managed to limp to the gate and got a taxi she said down in the taxi with different thoughts running down her mind.

“What if he decides to kill me today for being late? What if he kills Pa thinking I didn’t want to marry him… oh this is bad” she said as beads of sweats form on her forehead while some roll down her cheeks.

She tapped the taxi driver a little bit and he stared at her from the car mirror.

“How may I help you ma’am?” The driver asked calmly

“I’m sorry to say this but you please speed up a little bit?” Roseanne asked as she bit her nails nervously.

The driver shook his head to disagree “To avoid being stopped by the police on the road I CAN’T over speed ma’am “he said as he concentrated back on the car.

Roseanne sighed and rested her head back as tears threatened to fall from her eyes as she continued sweating with the AC on.

The taxi stopped in front of her house after a few minutes of driving, she paid the driver and rushed inside the house.

She opened the door but was welcomed by a slap on her cheek by Soberth who keeps glaring at her.

Roseanne rubbed her cheeks as tears rolled down her cheeks as she stared at her father expecting him to notice her injured forehead, but he didn’t say anything.

“You got us all worried, the wedding is starting in few minutes and G.G will have our heads on a plate if you didn’t show up “Angie said as she placed a glittering wedding dress and heels on her hand.

“G.G sent his driver to drop this wedding gown and heels here, that’s what you need to wear to the church. So go get dressed” 𝐌𝐫 Kent said as he readjusts his suit with one hand so as to avoid using the second arm Gerald shot.

“At least you should care about how I sustained this injury but all you care about is the dungeon of death you’re pushing me into” she shouted angrily as she held the dress and heels to her chest and walked upstairs to her room in anger leaving them speechless.

“Where did she fucking get the nerves from? Am gonna go beat some senses into her head” Soberth said angrily as she tries to go upstairs but Angie dragged her back with an evil smirk on her lips.

“There’s no need to do that, she’s going to be dead soon. She’s moving into the lion’s den today” Angie said as she smiles at Soberth.

You don’t need to get worked up over her” Mr. Kent said as he sits back on his chair.

GERALD’S GREY MOB HOUSE

“I want to talk to him privately” Cynthia said to Andrew as she barged into the room hurriedly while breathing loudly.

Andrew looked at Gerald who signaled him to leave, then he bowed and made to walk out. Cynthia scoffed at him as he made his way out.

Gerald put his cigarette in his mouth and continued smoking as he picked up a new jacket to match his suit.

“Don’t tell me you still wanna go ahead with the wedding, what’s gonna happen to me? A wedding is not necessary, I heard she’s a college girl she can’t be good enough for you” she shouted while staring at Gerald who puffed a smoke out of his mouth as he keeps staring at her.

“What I do is none of your business and you need to get the fuck outta my room right now” Gerald said calmly as he puts his cigarette on the ashtray.

“What about me?” Cynthia shouted angrily.

Gerald slammed her back on the wall and wrapped his hands on her neck as she strangled her against the wall.

“You fucking shouted at me? Who the fuvk do you think you are? Are you crazy? I think

you getting fucked has been getting into your heads” he scoffed and looked into her eyes.

“You mean nothing to me, and it won’t take me more than few seconds to get your head on my tray” Gerald held onto her neck strongly almost squeezing life out of her.

She started gasping for air as her eyes rolled up and started turning white. Gerald released her and she fell to the ground as she gasped for breath.

“Please don’t get married, I want you to myself “she said as she started stripping naked

“I’ll feed your body to my lions or sharks if you don’t get out of my room in the next six seconds “Gerald said in a deadly voice, she knows better than to go against him so she pack her clothes from the floor hurriedly and rushed off to her room. The mobsters kept staring at her as she rushed off to her room.

“Nice ass you’ve got Cyn “one of the mobsters said with a cocky smile as he watched Cynthia run pass him with a glare.

“You’re crazy sin” maddog said as she burst into laughter.

“She’s shameless” Sin said as he tries to place his arm around maddog who glared at him.

“you’re just realizing after fucking that hole for few months?” Maddog scoffed.

“I smell jealousy” sin said as he sniffs the air dramatically with a smirk.

“If killing you will help me wipe that stupid smirk off your lips then I might have to do that now”

“Whoa whoa who unleashed crazy ravens early this morning “Brian said sarcastically as he jumped into their middle

“How about I settle this fight?” He said as he tried to place his arm on Sin arm, but his glare made him fold his arm.

“Shut up” maddog and sin said in unison.

“Wtf did you plan this together?” Brian said as he looks in between both of them. Sin shook his head and walked off leaving maddog with Brian.

“You sound better with your mouth shut kid” maddog said with a glare and walked off.

“I sound better with my mouth closed. How?” He said as he scratches his forehead as he tries to understand what maddog meant by that.

“Hey, come back and explain yourself, you bitch.” Brian said as he runs after her.

Cynthia fell to the ground as she rushed into her room and burst into tears “he is going ahead with the wedding”’

Pussycat and Scylla rushed to her as they tried to console Cynthia.

“Getting married doesn’t mean you won’t get access to boss anymore Cyn” pussycat said as she continues patting Cynthia’s head that’s resting on her boobs.

“I want him to myself, and one college idiot is coming from nowhere to take him” Cynthia said as tears rolled down her eyes, she sniffled and hiccup as she continues to cry.

“She’s a college student and she can’t compare to you “Scylla said as sat up from her bed.

“She’s just a replacement of his former wife and you’ll remain the best option for him always” pussycat said as she consoles her

“I’ll make her life a living hell as long as she stays in this mob house. She shouldn’t try to feel too comfortable “Cynthia said as an evil smile made its way to her lips.
