Chapter 27

When Charlie and Jake were done with the talk with Jeremy and Joel, they had high hopes once again in regards to cracking the case.

Joel Peters had admitted that Diane would run errands for them every now and again, but she didn’t get involved with any major deals and he made sure of that.

From what he told them, Charlie got to know that Diane did not keep any close friends and was mostly alone so he was sure that she was not moving with a wrong dangerous group.

Jeremy however told them that he had noticed Diane seemed very aloof when he’d seen her recently which meant something was definitely off.

The person who they could talk to next would have to be her sister who was the same person that had filed a missing person’s report and also confirmed the body of her sister when Diane was found.

Charlie asked Joel what the relationship between Diane and her sister was like.

He told them that they were two peas in a pod and made sure to talk to each other everyday.
