Chapter 18

They remained in the parking lot for 5 longer minutes.

The time was spent arguing on where was best for them to continue their date at and seemed like forever to Johnny Black.

 Charlie insisted they found somewhere else and that she’d be responsible for it but Maddox Black told her that she had done enough.

 Eventually, she gave in to him and they walked to where his car was packed- Maddox very relieved and Charlie still a bit upset that things hadn’t gone her way.

 Maddox Black held the door open for a grumbling Charlie and he had to hold himself back from mimicking the way she held the door open for him so dramatically on his first date.

 Charlie knew he was had some dough but he didn’t look like the type to drive a Tesla.

 When she made a comment on his car being the latest Tesla model, he mockingly said.

“Well, anything for the environment-or something.”
