CHAPTER THIRTY THREE
RAVENNA
~~~~~~~~~♤♤♤♤♤♤Three days.That was how long I had been absent from work, and my messages were overflowing. I was glad for the break because it meant I got to spent time with Nana, but now, it was over. I had to return to work.
"You look so casual. This is your comeback after taking a break for three days. You're supposed to dress up," Alaina said with a mug of coffee in her hand as she walked into my room.
There was also one more thing that happened during those three days. On the first day of Nana's return from the hospital, we had decided to get drunk after waiting on Nana hand and foot.
Alaina had gotten too drunk and she had made a confession about not having a home of her own, and then I had offered her a room at my place until she should get one of her own.
