He about killed himself trying to make Caitie's first Xmas the best ever and that whole thing with that girl trying to kill me just made my life a whole lot more complicated. After that first Xmas and the dust had settled Colt did everything but hire bodyguards, which according to my father he had given some serious thought to.

By the time I was confirmed pregnant with the twins three months later he was doing better. We'd had three months of nothing out of the ordinary happening. I guess he figured he'd done all he could when it came to security so he could actually relax and enjoy his family.
