Olive’s POV

After Aaron left me in that dark room, I was escorted by the head maid of the castle, Janella, to a different room. This new room was a stark contrast to the previous one. It was spacious, cozy, and aesthetically pleasing. As I took in my surroundings, I noticed a faint scent that was familiar to me. It was as if I had lived in this room before.

Questions flooded my mind. Had I stayed here in the past? Why was I being given such a beautiful room when I was Aaron's prisoner? Could it be that he had allowed me to use it after discovering that I was his mate?

As I pondered these thoughts, the head maid called out my name, "Luna Olive." The sound of my new name caused me to frown. I was still not accustomed to being called Luna.

Even so, I replied to her, “What is it?”

“I have prepared the bathtub with warm water. You can take a bath now,” Janella said.

As she observed me from head to toe, it dawned on me that I probably smelled due to the encounter with the rogues who

Olive’s POV I woke up the following day, and I found myself still in the castle of Lycan’s Aaron. ‘So, it wasn’t a dream.’ It was not a dream when I met him outside the cabin when I encountered three rogues and when he brought me here to his castle. “They weren’t nightmares,” I mumbled, sitting up. Chirp. Chirp. My attention was caught by the sweet melodies of birds. I looked out the window and saw the beautiful sight of the blue sky. This room has an amazing view. “And I stayed in this room in the past?” I asked myself. It was annoying that I always saw evidence that Aaron wasn’t bad to me in the past. “Haa. It is difficult to force yourself to hate someone rather than force yourself to love someone.” Brrr… Hah. I laughed. I couldn’t believe my stomach growled at the time I was in deep thought. “Well, I tired myself last night because I kept on running. That’s why I am so hungry right now.” Should I go out and ask a maid if there’s any food to eat? Just wh

Asmund’s POV Seated at the dining table, my gaze fixated on Olive, who sat directly across from me. A surge of joy washed over me as I beheld her safe and sound despite her inability to recollect our shared experiences. Although she had lost her memories, I thought, ‘Well, we could just create new ones together. “Olive,” I beckoned. Pausing mid-bite, Olive turned her attention towards me. “How has your time here been?” I inquired. “Have any fragments of your memories resurfaced?” She lowered her head and responded, “No. Nothing came back. I still can’t remember anything.” Upon hearing her answer, I couldn’t help but heave a sigh. I had expected that being in my brother’s castle would trigger at least a slight memory for her. However, it seemed that she couldn’t recall anything at all. Despite this disappointment, I felt relieved that Olive seemed to have calmed down. Initially, she had been in a state of panic and had even expressed a desire to escape from this place. But now,

Aaron’s POV An hour prior to Griffin's arrival at my castle, Beta Jasfer entered my office to deliver some news about the cabin where I had discovered my wife. "Lycan Aaron," Jasfer called out. Turning away from the window, I faced him and listened attentively. "We thoroughly examined the cabin that you stumbled upon in the middle of the forest. However, upon our arrival, we found the cabin already engulfed in a massive fire. It was evident that this was no natural disaster, as the strong smell of gasoline permeated the air. Someone intentionally set the cabin ablaze," he explained, his voice filled with frustration. He then lowered his head and continued, "Due to the extensive damage caused by the fire, it has become nearly impossible for us to gather any information about the person who had kept Luna Olive captive in such an isolated location." Which means, the person who held my wife captive in that cabin was a smart person. Their first course of action was to set the cabin ab

Olive’s POV The moment Griffin stepped inside the dining room, I instantly knew what I had to do. ‘I must ensure his safety.’ Aaron probably summoned him to uncover the person who had taken me away from him and brought me into the cabin. If Aaron discovers that it was Griffin, he would not hesitate to end Griffin’s life. Therefore, in order to protect Griffin, I must pretend that I am unaware of his presence. When Griffin glanced at me, I quickly averted my gaze, pretending to be oblivious to his existence, even though deep down, I longed to rush into his arms and plead for him to rescue me from this place. But I have to deceive the powerful Lycan Aaron, so I exerted all efforts to appear composed and indifferent. I kept praying that he wouldn't perceive the thunderous pounding of my heart. I managed to act as if I really didn’t know who Griffin was. And then Griffin hugged me tightly. While hugging me, he placed his lips near my ear and whispered, [“Don’t worry, Olive. I

Asmund’s POV I was well aware of the kind of person Griffin was. He was the type who wouldn't miss an opportunity to snatch Olive away from us. And the reason behind it? He was also in love with her. That's why I couldn't comprehend why my brother allowed him back into the castle. "I just can't wrap my head around what's going on in my brother's mind," I confided to Anna, my friend from the Red Light Pack. We were sitting in our family-owned coffee shop, where I had called Anna to meet me so I could share my concerns with her. She was truly a great friend, as she had chosen to stay in a hotel instead of returning to her Pack, knowing that I needed someone to lean on at that moment. "I was just thinking," I began to express my frustration. "If Olive stays with her friend, she might regain her memories. However, that guy is not your typical Lycan wolf. I could sense from the beginning that he had no regard for my brother. Can you imagine? He's just a doctor for the Pack, yet his l

Olive’s POV After stepping into my room, I made it clear to everyone that they should stay out until I gave the signal. I settled down on the bed, spending several minutes lost in deep thought about Aaron's scheme to bring Griffin into his castle as a doctor. "Why would he go to such lengths?" I wondered aloud. Could it be that he brought Griffin here to help me recover my lost memories? Or does he suspect that Griffin was the one who imprisoned me in the cabin? Regardless of the truth, I must proceed with caution. Aaron must never discover the truth, or else Griffin's safety will be at risk! "But what about Griffin's assurance?" I whispered. He had promised to rescue me from this castle in no time. How does he plan to accomplish that? Knock. Knock. Knock. Knock. Out of nowhere, I heard thudding sounds coming from my room's window. What could that be? Was the wind blowing fiercely outside? I speculated that the noises were caused by a tree branch tapping against the

I pondered, “What should I do to put an end to this fight?” As I thought deeper, an idea struck me - I could hurt myself. “If I pretend to be injured, maybe they will stop fighting,” I mused. I scanned my room for something I could use, but the servants had removed all sharp objects after I had used a vase to harm myself. “Maybe I can break a hanger and use it,” I thought, quickly opening a cabinet. Without wasting a moment, I swiftly opened a cabinet, aware that time was of the essence. As I scanned the contents of the cabinet, my attention was drawn to a mysterious box nestled inside. Curiosity piqued, I couldn’t help but wonder what purpose the box served. Acting on instinct, I reached out and slowly opened it, revealing a torn white dress that had been meticulously sewn.
