Olive’s POV The sound waves as they brushed across my feet were deafening. My body felt so painful as I could tell I received scratches all over the place. When I tried to open my eyes, I could see a faint image of a man in front of me. It was my first meeting with Greypi. The brown hair that I first saw after I had plunged into the depths of the sea belonged to him. “Are you awake?” he asked with a very worried face. Because my eyes were closed for a long time, the sun’s rays were unusually blinding. I felt him checking my condition in my blurry state. “Can you grip my hand once?” he asked with a voice that was reminiscent of the warmest day underneath the sun. I felt something touching his hand, and I realized that it was his hand. As I lightly gripped it, his bright face crumpled up at once. “You’ve regained your senses. Seeing how strong your grip is.” When I loosened my grip, only then did I open my lips. “Who… are you?” My question seemed to push a button in him, and
Olive’s POV The next day arrived, and the gloomy darkness disappeared as the sun’s rays caressed the ground. Greypi departed from the cabin for work, leaving me by myself. Once I finished washing the dishes, I tidied up the area surrounding the cabin. I gathered all the soiled garments and arranged them on a rack. Right as I was about to launder them in the washing machine, the electricity suddenly went out. “Oh, what a bummer.” Due to this unforeseen circumstance, I had no alternative but to venture outside and wash the clothes in the river. I haven’t tried doing that. Well, my memories are limited, so I am not sure if I haven’t really washed in the river. Stepping out of the cabin, I clutched the bundle of soiled garments in my grasp, ready to embark on the task of washing them. The moment my feet touched the ground, a gentle breeze caressed my face, carrying with it the invigorating scent of nature. Inhaling deeply, I couldn’t help but exclaim, “Oh, how truly refreshing!”
Olive’s POV From the window of the car, my eyes sparkled at the sight of the City. It was really different from the forest where I lived. “Is this your first time in the City?” the woman, who was driving the car, asked. She looked at me and chuckled as if she was amazed at my reaction. I forged a cough and answered, “Well, I don’t think this is my first time.” “What kind of answer is that?” she laughed. “Anyway, I haven’t told you my name. I am Anna from Red Light Pack. And you are?” “I am…” ‘Will it be okay to share my name?’ I thought it would be bad to share my name, so I lied. “I am Michelle.” “Which Pack do you belong to?” I don’t have a Pack. In my given memories, I have none. So, I lied again. “Enchanted Forest Pack.” “Wow. First time I heard that. Maybe new. Nice to meet you, Michelle of Enchanter Forest.” “Same here. It felt good to meet you,” I said. “You are so sweet. Oh, and I need to turn to the left. Would you mind getting off here?” she asked. I unbuckled
Aaron’s POV I killed Helen. To take responsibility for her death, I decided to meet with her parents, Beta Victor, here in the City. Beta Jasfer accompanied me as we walked through the bustling streets. “Did you inform him about the reason behind me killing his daughter?” I inquired as we maneuvered through the busy crowd. “Yes, everyone in the Packs already knew that Helen died because she attempted to touch you. It was considered a grave offense, and her parents couldn’t deny it,” Beta Jasfer replied. “So, what do they expect from me?” I questioned further. “Well, they simply want to form an alliance with you. Despite feeling remorseful about the situation, they wanted to protect their Pack. It was also their Alpha’s directive to resolve this matter,” Beta Jasfer explained. “Very well, let’s proceed,” I agreed. We were on the verge of entering the building, where I would be introduced to Helen’s parents. However, my steps came to a sudden halt as I detected a familiar fragra
Olive’s POV It felt strange. As I walked through the City, a delightful fragrance filled the air, tempting me to trust my instincts and follow it. As I made my way toward the East, the fragrance intensified, igniting a rush of excitement within me and a feeling of recognition throughout my body. I yearned to unravel the mystery behind this enchanting scent and trace it back to its roots. But... “Hey!” Out of nowhere, a pair of hands grabbed my shoulders and spun me around, causing me to gasp in surprise. As I regained my balance, I found myself face to face with my boyfriend, Greypi. My heart raced as I took in his intense silver eyes, which were clearly filled with anger. I knew that I had disobeyed his orders by leaving the safety of the forest, and now I was about to face the consequences. “Greypi,” I stammered, my mouth suddenly dry. He didn’t say anything at first, but his expression spoke volumes. I could tell that he was furious with me for putting myself in danger. “
Griffin’s POV What did I feel after lying to Olive about Aaron? I felt worst. I felt an overwhelming sense of guilt after deceiving Olive about Aaron. It was a terrible feeling, knowing that I had taken advantage of her memory loss just to keep her by my side. Despite my remorse, I didn't want to dwell on it. I convinced myself that sending her away from the Lycan Alpha was the right decision. “Haa…” Taking a deep breath, I glanced around the hall where I currently found myself. I was attending a meeting with the Elders from various Packs, as my father couldn't be there. The main topic of discussion was Lycan Aaron, who had tragically taken the life of the Beta's daughter, Helen. “Was he not in his right mind? Why did he kill someone without a reasonable excuse?” “I heard that Helen tried to take advances to Lycan Aaron.” “It was disrespectful for Lycan Aaron because he was wedded with his Luna already.” “However, it wasn’t right to just kill Helen. He could have just puni
Aaron’s POV As soon as I stepped out of my majestic castle, a chorus of pleas reached my ears, pulling me towards its source. The voice was familiar, filled with desperation and sorrow. It was the voice of Abuela, the elderly woman whom I held dear to my heart, treating her as my own grandmother. I immediately halted my pace, turning my attention towards her. There she was, on her knees, her tear-streaked face reflecting the pain she felt. Her trembling voice called out to me, begging me to listen, to understand. "Please, Aaron! My dear, please!" she pleaded, her voice cracking with emotion. I couldn't help but feel a pang of sympathy for her, knowing the love and care she had shown me throughout my life. But her words were directed towards Vera, my former love, who had allegedly betrayed me. Abuela continued, her voice filled with anguish, "Listen to me, Aaron! Give Vera the benefit of the doubt. You know how much my granddaughter loved you. She would never, ever cheat on you!"
Olive’s POV Aaron. That name has been haunting my thoughts ever since Griffin mentioned it to me. “He claimed that Aaron is my destined partner.” Isn’t discovering one’s mate the most significant moment for a werewolf? “But I am a half-breed.” I have always questioned why someone like me, who appears to have reached adulthood, still hasn’t awakened my inner wolf. It was only when Griffin revealed that I am a half-breed that I finally comprehended the uniqueness within my own body.“And yet, even if I am a half-breed, the Goddess of the Moon gave me a strong Alpha Lycan as my mate.” I will be attracted to my mate’s scent and body. However, I have to remind myself that it is not because of love. “I must hate him,” I said to myself. After hearing Griffin’s account of Aaron’s ruthless behavior as an Alpha Lycan, it’s only natural for me to harbor feelings of animosity toward him.“Sure. It was my fault that I took the blame, and I understand why he made my life a living hell, but
