Chapter 6

*****Author's POV*****

The Twins stared at the woman before them, with wide eyes.

They mouthed the word mate, but actually it was their wolves calling out to hers.

She looked so pale and frail, any word to describe a weak looking wolf.

Not that Elvira looked like an Omega, but she also didn't look strong either.

Being the most feared, most wanted and most hottest men in the city, they deserved someone powerful at least.

Someone who was worthy to stand by them and not look like a damsel in distress.

Elvira looked nothing like a strong wolf and it turned the twins off in some way.

Zayn, being the eldest and calmest of the both, just sighed and turned to move in another direction.

Zayden gave El one last glance and followed his brother as they went to find their sister.

Honestly, they didn't hate El, but they didn't like her either. She might be their mate, but she wasn't in the least attractive.

Zayn's Lycan, Loki, growled at him for leaving just like that.

"Isn't this what you both always wanted? To get our mate?" He asked in frustration, "Why then are you guys leaving and ignoring her?"

Zayn sighed and just shrugged, "We might be looking for our mate, but we never asked for a weak one"

"Whether weak or not, she is still our mate" Loki argued and Zayn just shut him out.

"We'll talk about this later.

Zayn then walked to find Erika who was busily talking to a few people at the corner.

Zayden on the other hand grabbed a drink, then strutted to the bar counter, also turning to stare in the direction of the woman that turned out to be their mate.

"She's pretty" Zayden commented and took a sip of his drink.

"Then why did you both leave?" Lexi, his Lycan asked.

Zayden just shrugged, "Because Zayn left, I have to leave too" he said naturally and Lexi snorted.

"Just cause Zayn refused to accept our mate, you also refuse?"

Zayden hummed in return and Lexi growled.

"Just why are you both not going there and claiming her? What's wrong with her being our mate, she's pretty as you said, so what's the matter?"Lexi asked again and Zayden sighed.

"Yes she is our mate, that I agree. But look at her, she looks very weak and you know we hate weak females. She isn't even that attractive" Zayden explained casually again and just took a sip of his drink.

"She is beautiful, and has a very fair skin. She is tall too, so what the hell is your definition of attractive?" Lexi asked in bewilderment.

Zayden unable to bear it anymore just blurted out, "she isn't sexy at all"

"Your mate mustn't be sexy, she is perfect for us" Lexi never backed down.

"But we deserve better, don't you think?"

Zayden didn't also back down.

"What could be better than a female with fair skin, beautiful face and probably curves which are hidden in that dress of hers" Lexi's voice began to go thin as he said the last part.

"Emphasis on the probably. We ain't even sure" Zayden added and just shut Lexi out directly.

Their both eyes were fixed on Elvira who was talking to Daphne.

Actually, Daphne was the one talking.

Elvira just stared at her surroundings as if she was lost.

Even though Zayn and Zayden didn't want to talk to her, they still couldn't take their eyes off her.

Daphne who was trying so hard to get her friend's attention, is suddenly cut shut when Elvira suddenly told her she wanted to go home.

Without any other choice, Daphne relented unwillingly and pulled Elvira out of the hotel, taking her directly to the parking lot where the Valet asked them to check their car.

Zayn and Zayden watched them leave the hotel and they both looked at themselves. Through their mind link, they spoke to each other.

"She is leaving" Zayden said and Zayn just shrugged.

"Let her go" he said in return.

Some other pack Alphas began to suddenly flock around the twins.

Being the most powerful and most arrogant in the entire city, they were feared and greeted humbly.

No one dared to act brash with them.

Zayden was being direct and very insulting as he spoke to some Alphas, while Zayn was indirectly insulting the Alphas.

In all, they were very arrogant.

But being from the feared and most dreaded Lycan pack, everyone had to obey and bend to their will.

Erika looked around, searching for Daphne and Elvira, but she didn't see them anywhere.

She took out her phone to call them and they informed her that they had left the party.

Erika wanted to know their reasons, but she went against it and just chose to meet up with them after the party.

Zayden and Zayn's Lycans weren't settled as they both couldn't get enough of the Honeysuckles their mate smelled like.

Lexi was busily trying to coarse Zayden, while Loki was busily trying to talk some sense into Zayn.

Though the two Lycans didn't care and just focused on the people before them.

After they failed to convince them, the both Lycans stopped persuading them and just went silent.

Daphne and Elvira who are in the car driving back home, soon arrived at Elvira's house.

Elvira got down immediately and tried to go into the house, but Daphne stopped her.

"El just wait!" She flew to Elvira's side and stopped her as she saw the tears that pulled up in El's eyes.

"What's wrong with you? Why are you crying?" Daphne's voice softened as she cupped Elvira's face with her palm.

Seeing Elvira's strange behavior, she felt her heart shatter.

Elvira had cried alot after her divorce, and she only wanted to get Elvira out of the house to cheer her up and make her happy.

Not to make her cry.

Her efforts was already wasted, but she definitely didn't mean for Elvira to cry.

After a comfortable silence had passed, Elvira then said slowly.

"Those Lycans, they're my mates"

Daphne's hands on Elvira's face fell instantly.
