Chapter 3

Helena asks, turning around and looking up because of the voice she heard: What are those voices that come from above?

Mart answered her and said to her, also confused and not knowing where this sound came from: I really don't know at all, but it gets more complicated every moment. Let's go upstairs and see what happens. I hope it's never a bad thing.

Helena looked at him dumbly and said suspiciously, "I think it's a very bad idea, let's just stay here. We don't have to go upstairs ever, let what's happening up there happen, and never interfere. What do you think of that?"

Mart said to her: I think we should go upstairs and check where this sound comes from, you coward.

Helena looked at him angrily and said to him: You are the coward, not me.

sera screamed at them and stood up and said to them seriously: Stop this thing at once, stop the useless quarrel, and then let's go and see what happens upstairs together.

None of them spoke, and sera walked toward the stairs, and Helena and Mart went behind her, and they went upstairs, looking around, looking suspiciously at everything around them. When they reached the stairs, they found something black in color suddenly jumping on them.

Helena and sera cried together in a very loud voice and closed their eyes in fear of what had happened.

Mart laughed a lot as he looked at them and said sarcastically during his loud laughter: Open your eyes, he's just a cat nothing more.

They opened their eyes quietly, then sera said sarcastically: Damn that cat really.

Helena held the cat in her hand and then said while groping it: It is really very beautiful and very soft it looks cute.

sera looked at him indifferently and said, "I don't see anything funny, you satirist." I don't really understand what's so funny about what happened.

sera raised her left eyebrow at Mart and did not speak, and she was looking at him with a look that meant where is really funny about this.

Mart stopped laughing and said to her, "Okay, well, sera, don't turn your face like that, let's go downstairs, there's nothing up there.

sera turned and went downstairs, behind Mart.

Helena said while cuddling the cat: I will keep this beautiful cat. I loved him so much. He is really the most wonderful thing I have ever seen.

Mart replied, "Do whatever you want. We don't care much about it. If you throw it away or keep it with you, it's up to you, dear Helena."

Helena looked at the cat happily and said, "You will be my companion here then, beautiful cat."

The cat was black, and his eyes were shining green and so frightening he was looking at Helena as if he understood what she was saying.

Then they went downstairs and went and sat down at the table

. Mart looked at sera and said to her, "Now tell us the dream you had?"

sera took a long breath and then said: I saw a scary woman, her features are not clear. I didn't see anything of her clearly except that she was wearing a black cloak and she stood in front of me in a forest. Then she said to me in a very serious voice:

"Run as fast as you can, everyone who enters this place is missing. No. Look behind you no matter what happens, these eyes are watching us everywhere. Never say her name no matter what happens because she will come to take you to the world of darkness, her curse is the worst ever"

I told her, "What are you saying?" run from what? Then who are you and what do you want from me?

She gave me a frightful look that I can never define and then continued seriously:

"What comes to your mind when you hear about a secluded island? They say it contains many, many treasures and valuables, and they say it is not dangerous, it is just an isolated island. Mart seriously: I think that this dream has a meaning. I am sure of this. I have seen many interpreters of dreams and read many and many books related to dreams before and you remember the dream in all its details. That is why I am sure that it has an interpretation. No more myths. But if you remember all the details and what happened with you, this thing means that this dream has a great meaning for you and it can be a warning to you of something bad that will happen to you.

sera looked at Mart very seriously and said to him, "Even if what you're saying is as true as you say and has a meaning, I don't think there is a meaning to these things. Paranormals, werewolves, magic, demons, or anything else, these things never exist, except in fantasy stories.

Mart answered her and said: Of course it does not exist, but it could be that the dream has another meaning and we do not know it yet, so we must look for an explanation for it in order to understand what is happening here and with you. I never say that these things exist, for every word can have an interpretation, and every word uttered in a dream has another meaning that is not apparent.

Helena intervened and interrupted their conversation together and said: The morning will come in a little while, so let's go discover the island after we eat what you think. And let's stop talking about meaningless things. We came here with a mission to finish it ASAP so we can go back to our normal lives and get off that island.

"Okay, I'm making up my mind, let's go out of this house for a bit, I don't like it, and I don't know why, so we'd better explore the place around us, finish our job, and go home," said sera, looking at Helena.

Helena stood up and said excitedly, "I will go up to get ready and change my clothes then and let's go find out everything."

Mart said, "Okay, I'll do that too, and then we'll eat first, and then we'll go after that."

Helena clasped first, followed by Mart, and then sera climbed up behind them to change her clothes as well.

Helena quickly ran out of the room after she came in and called them and said I found this book on the bed and it's not mine This is the first time I've seen it Is it for any of you?

Helena looked at them and said suspiciously: I don't know how he came to my room and to my bed, it's really suspicious. Could the house be haunted or what? What the fuck is going on here. That book wasn't there when I came out of the room and we sat down together, I'm sure of that.

Mart thought: I don't know what's going on here but let's see what's in this book first and then see what we're going to do.

sera: Let's go downstairs again, then, and read this book, perhaps we'll find something that will help us.
