61. Thea's word

"Thea?"

Faith's heart skipped a beat as she turned around and found herself face to face with Thea, her witch friend whom she planned to call secretly. Thea stood there, her eyes glistening with a mixture of coldness and relief, as if her eyes fell on a particular person in the room but she soon looked at Faith.

"Thea? What are you doing here?" Faith's voice trembled with a mix of confusion and disbelief. She couldn't believe her eyes. Thea was here, in a wolf and lycan's territory. Witches are banned here. What if she gets punished?!

"I called her," Kendrick's voice broke the spell. Faith turned her attention to him, her eyes wide with curiosity. Kendrick stood by Faith's side with a determined look in his eyes.

"Why...?" Faith's voice trailed off, her mind spinning with questions. Why did Kendrick call Thea? What was happening? It was as if her emotions were on a roller coaster, swinging between hope and uncertainty.
