“His eyeballs fell out as blood started gushing out. It was already 2 in the morning. While I began again to look at the frightening scene before me, I suddenly heard the sound of broken bones, and it seemed that those sounds came from the bones in his body. His groans, his screams… I couldn't help. In the next second, I saw his flesh tearing off. Fear suffocated me. My body felt numb as fear crept up my spine. Terror stole my words.
I suddenly heard the sound of my heart beating at a fast pace as I continued to step backward with shaking legs and I felt goosebumps over my body as my eyes darted in fear shockingly, I saw another eyeball growing out which replaced the falling eyes as I could see how red it turned and glittering like a blazing fire.In no time, I saw the skin of a hairy animal growing from the inside of his body, causing his human skin to continuously tear apart.” Those were the incidents that happened in a chapter paragraph of the book Derek was reading Titled Things To Know About Lycan And A Werewolf Transformation, as his phone suddenly rang, distracting him from finishing the chapter. He looked at his phone screen and saw it was Kira calling, so he decided to pick up.
On the phone…
Kira
“What'sup? I haven't seen you for two days now… you didn't call or visit. Are you okay, or did I do anything wrong?” I asked because days had gone by, but Derek didn't show up. We would always meet on each day except for the days Derek would tell me how busy he would be and won't be meeting with me, but I was so worried because Derek didn't tell me whether he was busy or not. I feared if I did something wrong to him or whether he was OK.
“Sorry… I got so busy with work. There's a robbery case I'm dealing with, and I believe I will get to the root of it. So… how have you been? Where are you?” He questioned.
“I just finished off from work. About going home.” I replied.
“Do you mind joining me at the library?” He asked, but because I didn't know where the library was located, I asked curiously.
“Library? At where?” He told me where the library was located, and after I thought about it for some split seconds, I came to terms to meet with him because I could get there within thirty minutes. It was just 06:00 pm.
“Alright… I'll be there soon,” I said and immediately ended the call.
Furthermore, I parked my stuff as soon as I ended the call and swiftly left the office. Likewise, I rushed outside and saw that the weather wasn't favorable at all. It was difficult to see a taxi to carry me to my destination. The ones I saw were either the car was filled with passengers or the driver was refusing to go to my destination because of the weather.
It was winter, and a harsh winter wind blew out of the evening sky. It roared out of the frigid north and thrashed the brooking bushes while I walked on the track road, where I could barely see anyone passing through. The force of it bent trees, whipping their bare branches like angry lashes, as I continued to struggle to walk because the force that came from the wind never stopped pulling me backward. Even though I wore a hoodie, the cold was irresistible. Seeping through my thick layers of clothing, attacking seams and zip tracks and spots of thin insulation. The exposed skin on my face felt cold.
I thought of calling Derek to tell him I wasn't sure I would be coming but then, I thought I shouldn't as I continued to walk on the track road and prayed I get to the library in no time.
Suddenly, I heard a noise that came from the bush. It sounded like footsteps, but immediately I turned to the direction of where the sound came from. I couldn't see anyone or a hint, so I thought it was an illusion as I continued to walk with my arms folded across each other because of the cold.
I heard the sound again as my staring eyes with dilated pupils never stopped looking around in fear, but still didn't see anyone. Instantly, I felt shortness of breath, I fought a rising panic, and my heart leaped into my throat as I continued to suppress a shiver. Just as I took another step forward, I saw something run past me from behind. I turned to see what it was, but it was nowhere to be found. It gave me a hint that the thing had hidden and someone or something was following me. I felt it. Intense adrenaline coursed through my veins, and facing forward, I began to sprint.
Luckily, I saw a taxi driving past me as I waved and it stopped. I jumped in as it drove off. I continued to look backwards, but saw nothing. Maybe it was an illusion. I concluded.
“Take me to this address.” I said to the driver as I showed him my phone to see the address for himself.
Thereafter, I called Derek and told him I was near, so he could come pick me up once I get into the library building.
After several minutes, the car stopped in front of a gate of an enormous building.
“Here…" He said as I paid him off and climbed out of the car, walking into the building, I didn't see Derek so I walked into the library and not a word was said, but I could feel all eyes glaring at me as I stood like a statue.
I saw a man standing beside the door. The man looked malnourished with his slouch and thin exterior. His muscles tensed, as if ready to attack, but then, he shifted his position carefully, as if trying not to scare me.
“Hello, welcome.” He said with a smile, as I let out a considerable breath of relief silently.
“Thank you…” I replied as I saw Derek slightly running towards me. He got to me and held my hands. We both walked back towards his table as we sat.
“You didn't wait for me outside…” I complained.
“Sorry… the weather…” He couldn't finish his statement because I was quick to interrupt.
“Yeah, the weather is so cold. I understand…” I said, as a smile accompanied my statement.
“What book are you reading?” I asked and lifted the book I saw on the table as I glanced through it.
“You won't get tired of reading this book over and over again, will you?” I asked because that wasn't the first time I have seen him read this book over and over again in one of the libraries we once went to.
He creased his brows. “None of the books here caught my interest yet.” He replied as he took the book from me and covered the opened page as we chit-chatted and laughed.
KiraMy eyelid began to nictate continuously as I could suddenly hear some crackling and rustling leaves. I wondered where I found myself.I immediately stood from my lying position where I laid on the ground as I dusted my body from the sand. I felt a very sharp pain in my head. More like a migraine."Ouch!" I winced in pain as I continued to clean the dust off my body. From my standing position, I was surrounded by towering giants of trees, then I realized I was in a forest. I looked around and got confused about what I was doing in such a place as my heart struggled with panic. I heard a screeching sound of animals, coming from different directions in a loud tone as I fearfully turned around over and over again towards the direction the sounds came from. I didn't see a thing and suddenly, it stopped. Instantly, my breath accelerated. I watched my body freeze in fear.A vast silence reigned over the land. The land itself was a desolation, lifeless, without movement, so lonely and c
Seven hours had passed already. Corey pushed the door of his room as he staggered in and shut the door. He was feeling tasty, he needed to quench his taste. He immediately rushed towards his fridge, ransacking every corner of the fridge, and couldn't find what he was looking for. He shut the fridge in anger as he slipped to the ground and groaned in frustration. Likewise, he immediately flashed back to how deep he inhaled Kira's body. The smell of her body kept hovering all over his nostrils. He stood up, staggering continuously as he stood in front of a mirror, breathing heavily and his eyes were beginning to change into another colour. His skin was starting to turn white. He leaned on the wall as his body struggled to accustom to its reaction. He shut his eyes so tight as he continued to swallow his saliva continuously as the pace of his breathing intensified. Not only that, but he staggered towards his wardrobe and brought out a picture of a lady and sat on the ground, glanc
NOT SUITABLE FOR YOUNG READERS!!! Corey trudges towards the restroom hastily. The coloured lights led to his missing steps, which served as an embargo to walk properly as he continued to stagger while walking along the corridor leading to the restroom. He walked past a girl who was masturbating in the lonely passageway. It was a club, after all. She didn't care to know if anyone would see her. All she cared about was how to satisfy her impulse at that moment. He acted like he never cared as he immediately went into one of the restrooms and shut the cubicle door, he took a secret look through the door, giving a pleasurable and seductive gaze at her. Watching her pleasuring herself, he felt his little monster get hard. Hard that he could tell his little monster was willing to assist the girl in pleasurable distress. Shortly, he adjusted the collar of his dress and cleared his throat. He took a bold step as he opened the door, walking back to meet the girl. After a few steps, “hi
Back in the toilet…Though, her eyes were still open but couldn't think of why; her heart was pounding, mind empty. It's as if a hypodermic of adrenaline had been emptied into her carotid. With weary eyes, she held the toilet seat and forced herself to stand, but continued to slip off. Her breath quickened, and her legs were shaky as she attempted to stand for the second time. The pain that came from her bleeding p***y and the bite she got on her neck was something she tried to endure. She held the toilet seat again and shut her eyes so tight as she finally stood with her weak legs. She attempted to take a few steps forward and when she did, getting closer to the cubicle door, she step-missed but was quick to hold on to the door handle which saved her from the fall. Sweat began to bead all over with the recurrent nerves she thought she had finally abandoned, leaving her absent of the ability to do anything. She stood up again and with her continuously shaking legs, she walked towar
KiraThe light of dawn seeped into my room. I rubbed my bleary eyes, I reluctantly stood from my bed and walked to the window. There was a pearly glow in the sky and I loved the view. It was Monday morning. “Not again,” I mumbled. While I admired nature from my window, I smiled as the thought of moving into my flat popped into my head. It was my second month as a graduate. I'm an adult and I needed to move. I got so much joy, realizing I was growing up to be a full-grown woman. Furthermore, I yawned and stretched out my body. The sound of birds chirping in the distance, the soft rustling of trees as they swayed in the morning breeze, and the soft sound of waves as they gently lapped on the lake shore, I couldn't take my eyes off it. I walked towards my wardrobe with a smiling face and brought out my diary before walking back to sit on the bed. I flipped through the pages and smiled again when I found the exact page I was looking for. It was my wish list. There were ten wishes wri
KiraIt was already reaching my closing time as I tried to hurry with my remaining work at the office. At the entrance of my office, there's a walnut bookcase by the right-hand side of the wall filled with piles of documents of various research that were properly arranged.I could remember on my first day at work as the manager of Wolfie company, I saw those documents there. Those were left by the previous Managers before I took over from them. There is a black leather sofa beside the other end of the wall with an air conditioner opposite it. An office table by the side of the wall and two chairs were carefully arranged beside the table for whoever wishes to seat and talk business with me and another chair arranged at the other side of the table. That was my seat. While I sat flipping through documents and signing on those that needed my signature on them, the melodious air conditioner didn't let me sweat my ass out. The sound of a ringing phone distracted me as I took a glance o
Kira While we continued to dance, just as we were about to take another step, the sound of clapping hands distracted us and the music stopped suddenly.Derek and I looked around and saw the people who witnessed our dance stand on their feet with smiles on their faces, still clapping. I got nervous when I glanced at Derek's face and saw how he smiled back at them as he held my hands and walked back to our seating position. “You danced so we'll…” He complimented while pouring some drink into the cup.“Thanks,” I replied with a smile when, suddenly, I heard my phone ring. I brought it out of my bag and then saw who the call was. Seeing who the caller was, I got curious. Why calling me at this time? It was the female experiment manager calling. On the phone… “Can you please come to the office now?” The caller sounded like there was an emergency. Requesting my presence at the office at this very moment was an impossible request. Where would I tell Derek I was going to?“Now? I… what's
Derek could no longer be himself. Those moments of passionate kiss didn't stop playing in his head. God! What has he done? Those were his regrets the moment he knew the precaution of what would fall to him after his actions. From the book he read in that library, he could recall that humans aren't safe when they get intimate with a werewolf or a lycan. If not, the human will be contaminated with lycanthropy. What would happen to Kira now? The secret about Derek and Kira's kiss was Derek was already having some feelings for Kira, and that was why he couldn't resist her at first when she claimed his lips. But he didn't have the courage to confess his love because he knew he would be putting Kira's life in a big mess. He could hear his heart beat so fast as he continued to stare at Kira, who was already sleeping. With slightly shaky hands, he brought out his phone and went on his WhatsApp. Luckily, he met Scott online. “Hey, bro. I'm in a big mess.” That was the first message Scott
