~Ivy's POV:

Axel was pissed when he returned that night. I could feel, see, and even smell it.

When he stormed into the pack house disrupting the phone call I had been on, he looked like a madman right about ready to tear anything down anything that came into his path.

What made him so mad? I wondered as I watched him for a few seconds, pacing the living room back and forth.

I opened my mouth to question the sudden change in his mood, after all, he looked more than happy when he had left this morning, but one of the maids present beat me to it.

“Alpha, is everything alright?”

Axel shot her a glare that had me feeling glad that she was the one who had spoken first. Although I greatly doubted that Axel would have glared that way at me.

He loved me far too much to do so.

The maid, getting the memo, quickly bowed her head and scurried off, leaving Axel to continue his angered frenzy.
