Chapter 6
Scarlett Wolff Are you alright? Lucien's worried face had welcomed me last night as I opened the door for him when he knocked. My scream was so loud while I was playing with myself that he heard me from his room. You can imagine the level of embarrassment I felt at that moment, but thankfully, I was able to brew a lie so quickly. My stomach grumbled angrily the moment I heard that woman's voice as she descended the staircase along with Lucien. She was fully dressed, so I guessed she would be leaving soon. Thank goodness. My heart fluttered when I set eyes on my charming fantasy, looking all hot in his black outfit. Gosh! The little part of his chest revealed made me hot in between my legs, the thought of running my fingers through his chest while drawing invisible lines on it made me wet down there. “Good morning, Scarlett,” the woman smiled at me broadly, her face looking bright like something good happened last night. Oh, yeah. Something good must've happened between them last night. And what the fuck was good about the morning when that bitch is here? “Hmm…” I hummed, turning to Lucien with a smile on my face as I said. “Good morning, Sir. I made breakfast,” “I'm heading out, Scarlett. Go ahead and eat without me,” his words cut deep through my heart like a dagger. He gave me a smile that lasted for split seconds before disappearing. And as if he didn't notice the sadness on my face, he left without sparing me a glance. My heart sank into my stomach, my eyes stung with tears building in them, and I didn't try to hold them back as I allowed them fall freely down my cheeks. I rushed to the window to watch them hopping inside the car, and all I felt was anger and jealousy. My attention was drawn away by the sound of my ringing phone, and I rolled my eyes as I brought it out of my pocket, and I rolled my eyes when I saw when I saw that it was my best friend, Alexa. I couldn't bring myself to ignore her call, so I took it and held the phone to my ear. “Hey! Where the hell are you? I came over to the house but you were nowhere to be found. Have you forgotten we have lectures today?” Her angry voice sounded from the other end, and the realisation dawned on me that it was the beginning of a new session in the school, and I needed to be there since lectures was starting right away. Yes, I'm still a student. In my finals in college, actually. “Ugh!” I groaned, hurrying to the staircase. Heaven knows that I didn't have plans of leaving the house today, but I didn't have a choice now. “You can go ahead, Alex. I'll meet you in school,” I ended the call as I made my way into my room. It took me an hour and a half to get ready for school, and once I was done, I grabbed my bag and dashed out of the house. Since I didn't bring my car to stay with me here, I was left with the only choice of boarding a cab to school. I was too annoyed that I didn't even bother to inform Mr. Lucien about it before leaving. I could barely concentrate on my way to the school as my mind was clouded by the thought of Mr. Lucien and that bitch he was with earlier. The thought of them being on the bed, kissing, and maybe fucking each other made my skin crawl. How could he do this to me? I've been keeping myself for him for years, I never gave any man an access to my body, how could he fuck any woman like it was nothing? “We are here, Ms,” came the cab man's voice, and I realised that he was already pulled over in front of my school, Queen's university. Alexa was just stepping out of her car by the time I walked inside the school spacious compound. The garage had many cars parked in it. This was a prestigious school that only rich kids attends, so almost every single students has a car or two. Any student who didn't have a car was probably their choice, or the scholarship students. “The hell, Scarlett! Where is your car?” Alexa shrieked, her eyes widening as soon as she set eyes on me. She was graced in a pair of blue jean trousers, pink crop top, and a pair of white sneakers. Her blonde hair was packed up in two tight buns. “My goodness! You look pale. Are you sick? Do you want me to take you to the infirmary?” She placed a hand on my forehead, asking with concern. “I'm fine, Alex. Let's go to class,” Unlike every other day that I would joke around with her, I didn't feel like it today. I was overwhelmed by what happened today and ended up neglecting my best friend without even knowing it. I walked ahead of her while she followed me, trying to catch up with me. “Come on, Scarlett. Can you talk to me? You are scaring me. You don't look fine and you are going to keep it to yourself? What happened?” She didn't give up asking me as she followed me until we got inside the class, and thankfully, the lecturer was already in class. My seat was already occupied by another student, so I had to make do with the vacant seat. Thankfully, Alexa found somewhere else to sit since it was only a seat available where I went to sit. I could barely concentrate during the lecture, and after what seemed like eternity, it finally ended. “Hey!” I rolled my eyes when I heard the familiar annoying masculine voice behind me. It was Derek, the school hottie whom I didn't find hot. The only person who was hot to me was Lucien and nobody else. Derek has been on my neck since year one, and he still hasn't given up even after telling him countless times that I wasn't interested. “Hey, Scarlett. Do you want to have lunch with me later?” He came to stand in front of me, his pair of grey eyes piercing at me, a grin spread across his lips, revealing his set of white teeth. The smile every lady in school would die to see, but I find it attractive. “No, Derek. I'm not interested,” I told him point blank…Chapter 7Lucien Alessandro“Why would you bring me to your house when you knew nothing was going to happen between us?” Olivia, the lady I brought to the house, complained as I pulled over at the side of the road. “I have paid you for your service, so get out of my car while I'm being nice,” I didn't spare her a glance, my voice as cold as it could.“Are you kidding me?” She scoffed, making me turn to her this time.“Trust me, you don't want me to repeat what I just said,”“You are weird,” she rolled her eyes at me before stepping out of my car, slamming the door hard behind her. She wouldn't have gone scot-free with what she did, but thankfully, I wasn't in the mood for that.I pulled my car safe open, reaching for the pack of cigarettes and a lighter lying there. I took out a stick and lit it before putting it in my mouth, taking a long slow drag, my eyes closed in a momentary bliss, the only thing I could think of was Scarlett.“Scarlett!” Her name escaped my lips in a whisper, a
Chapter 8Scarlett WolffIt was another day to go to that boring school. A place that used to be fun for me, but what I found fun now was spending time with Lucien though he wasn't giving me the audience.I was just getting ready to leave for school when my phone started to ring, and I picked on the first ring when I saw that it was Alexa. She was still calling me despite the way I treated her yesterday. I needed to apologise to her later for being mean.“Hey, sweetheart. I'm coming over to your house. You don't have to drive to school, I will pick you up in my car,” I still haven't told her that I moved out of the house to stay with my dad's friend.“Let's meet in school, Alex. You don't have to pick me up,” I ended the call without giving her a chance to bombard me with questions, knowing that it was the next thing she would do.My chest tightened, and I bit my lip as the thought of Lucien crowded my mind. The way my heart stung when he rejected my food yesterday, the way he didn't
Chapter 9Lucien AlessandroThere is a problem at the casino, sir.I was just on my way out of Scarlett's school earlier when Vlad called and told me that. Who dared to cause trouble at my casino? The ride to the casino took about an hour, and once I drove into the compound, I pulled over at the garage and headed to the entrance door. I was welcomed inside by the loud buzzing music, the smell of alcohol and cigarettes, and the sight of people dancing, some sitting at a corner, sipping on drinks while feeding their eyes with whatever they found interesting. The stripper was also doing her business, entertaining everyone. It was a regular club thing. Yes, to the outside world, it was only a club, but there was more to it. Underground the popular club, was the biggest and most successful casino in the whole world, owned by Lucien Alessandro, the leader of the most notorious mafia family in America, El imperio de la sombra (the shadow empire).“Call your boss. I am not leaving here until
Chapter 10Scarlett WolffI'm closed from school now. I looked at the text I had sent to Mr. Lucien for the umpteenth time as I stood in front of the school gate, waiting for him to pick me up. A smile crept up my lips upon the thought of being in the same car as him yet again. The feeling was exciting.“Hey!” My excitement was soon cut short by Derek's annoying voice, and I rolled my eyes before turning to find him smiling at me like we were friends or we were close. For fuck's sake, can't he get the memo that I wasn't interested in him?“Hi!” I replied to him bluntly, turning my gaze from him.“Are you waiting for someone?” Just when I thought he was going to leave me the hell alone, he decided to talk again, demanding my attention which of course I didn't have a choice but to give it to him.“Is there a problem?” I raised an eyebrow.“Do you want me to drop you off at your place? We are heading the same way, after all,” he offered, and I rolled my eyes. If I needed a ride, I would
Chapter 11Location; casinoTime: 11pmLucien AlessandroI sat watching my boys as they carefully arranged the stack of crystal meth that had just been delivered a couple of hours ago before sending it out to our clients.“Everything is ready, boss,” Vlad turned to me and said once they were done arranging everything.“It's just your order now to send them out,” he added, and I reclined on the chair, crossing my legs.“Where is Jasper?” I asked instead, and they all looked at each other. They were about fifteen. Jasper wasn't amongst them.“Boss, Jasper complained he was sick. I think it's the hangover from last night. He went clubbing last night and got drunk,” Jasper's friend, Caspian, who was in his mid twenties, spoke up. Of course, I knew the bastard won't be here. He wouldn't dare. At least not after what he did.I turned to Vladimir and ordered. “Get me Jasper, Vlad,”“Yes, boss. I will do that,” he had turned to leave when I stopped him.“Make sure you bring him here at all co
Chapter 12Lucien AlessandroKing's bar. Tonight by 8pm.I was getting ready to leave for the meeting when my attention was drawn away by the sound of the knock on the door. Frustration kicked in knowing that it was no other person but Scarlett. The last person I wanted to see. I've been doing my best to avoid her and keep my distance, but she just seems to be all over me. Poor girl, she had no idea the horrible and crazy thoughts I was having about her.The knock came on again, and I knew I had to go take the door this time. I pulled it open, and my heart fluttered the moment I set eyes on this sexy young lady who had messed with my head and was still doing it. She was graced in a white baggy shirt which stopped right after her butt, revealing about an inch of the bum short she was wearing. Her boobs were pointing firmly at me like they were seeking attention, and the sight of them made my dick twitch excitedly. Was she seducing me? I asked myself, but dismissed the thought. Poor gir
Chapter 13Scarlett WolffI kept checking my phone every passing minute for the time as I waited for Lucien to come home. I had called to tell him earlier that I was sick, and I believed he would come to check on me.What if he doesn't? My subconscious mind asked me, and I bit my lip hard. Well, I could only hope and pray silently that he would show up. No way I would sleep here again all alone.I bolted toward my room the moment I heard his car drive into the compound, and once I was in my room, I threw myself on the bed and snuggled myself under the duvet, shivering as if I had been sick for a long time while waiting for him to show up.“Scarlett!” Came his voice as the door burst open and he barged inside. He came to squat beside me, removing the duvet that was covering my body, and I shook even more. I think I should consider casting in a movie. Until now, I didn't know I had a hidden talent which was acting. I might as well give it a shot now that I've discovered it.“Scarlett?
Chapter 14Lucien Alessandro“Will the massage make you feel better?” I found myself asking even though I've been trying to keep my distance. She looked really sick, and though this was a bad idea, I could not bring myself to let her suffer when I could actually be of help to her.She stared at me for a couple of seconds silently, blinking her cute eyes before nodding her head.“Yes, thank you,” her cute little voice made my heart melt in my chest. For a second, I had a second thought about this knowing I might not be able to behave myself later.Regardless, I put everything away and went to sit beside her on the bed. I felt a tingling sensation in my fingers, my heart pounding hard against my chest like it was going to force its way out of me. Just the sight of her beautiful body made my stomach churn with excitement. I tried to control the feeling from spreading down there, trying everything to get myself distracted. Having an erection in front of her was the last thing I wanted. I
“Good morning, Scarlett. Did you sleep well?” He didn't make eye contact with me, but instead looked like he was avoiding my gaze. I didn't think too much about it because there was no reason for him to do that. “Are you going out?” I raised an eyebrow. “Hmm. I have something to take care of. Is everything alright?” I guess he noticed the frown that settled on my face when he looked at me. “You promised me yesterday that you would be going to the movies with me today.” I pouted my lips disappointedly. “Yeah, I still remember that. What time is it going to be? This morning?” He raised his eyebrows as he looked at me. “No. 6pm.” I replied to him. “We still have so much time, Scarlett. I won't go back on my word.” He assured me, and I felt relieved. “I made breakfast. I already served yours and was about to come and call you when you showed up. Let's go to the dining room.” I told him. “You should go ahead and eat alone, Scarlett. I have something to attend to.” He left me to g
Chapter 22 Scarlett Wolff I could barely sleep all through the night as I looked forward to daybreak so I could go out with Lucien. It was barely 6am when I woke up and left for the kitchen to do the chores and make breakfast. I have no idea why he doesn't have a single house help in his house, but I didn't bother to ask him. My phone rang at the time that I just rounded up washing the plates, and I rolled my eyes when I saw that it was Alexa. “Have you slipped out of your messed up state now, huh?” I spoke on the phone once I picked the call, and I heard her scoff. “Don't be mad at me, sweetheart. I'm sorry about what happened. I'm going to make it up to you, and that's a promise.” She whined, causing me to roll my eyes again as I reclined on the counter. “Do you have plans today? We could hang out together. I won't get drunk again, I promise.” “Nah. I have plans.” I quickly replied to her. “Going out with someone?” “That's not your business, bitch. Have you slipped out of

Chapter 20Lucien AlessandroMy heart melted the moment I opened the door and found Scarlett standing at my doorstep. She was graced in a short nightie which barely covered her butt, and slightly opened in the chest, revealing her cleavages. She had her hair up in a ponytail, which has always been my favourite hairstyle of herself. “Can I come in?” I swallowed nothing and managed to nod my head when she spoke, and after she came inside, I closed the door and turned to her.Silence assumed the atmosphere as I stood in front of her, looking everywhere else except her direction. It was already difficult having her around, and now she was looking all yummy. Gosh! I don't want to do something crazy, please.“About what happened earlier…” she paused, fondling her fingers when I looked at her. The way she made eye contact with me was another level of confidence that I couldn't explain. “I'm sorry. I didn't mean to get you pissed. I was just bored at home and jumped at the offer when my fri
Chapter 19Lucien AlessandroI drove recklessly on the road with no destination in mind. Never in a million years have I ever imagined I'd ever be this scared of someone getting hurt. It was the first time I was having this feeling. For the umpteenth time, I dialled her number, hoping I would be able to reach her this time, but just like every other time that I had tried it, her number wasn't still reachable.“Fuck!” I cursed, tossing my phone on the seat beside me.Another five minutes into the drive, and I saw a few cops ahead of me, checking the cars in front of me and causing traffic congestion.I waited impatiently until they got to my turn.“There was a murder case around the neighborhood, so we are checking cars. Open your trunk, please.” The cop, who was in his mid thirties, said to me politely, and I had to open the trunk for him. After he was done checking, he came to me and told me that I could leave. I was about to leave when it crossed my mind to show him Scarlett's pictu
Chapter 18 Lucien Alessandro I was supposed to meet Vlad right away earlier, but something urgent came up, and I had to delay it. 'Let's meet at the villa now'. I texted Vlad a couple of minutes ago on my way to the villa. The drive only took about fifteen minutes before I arrived at the villa where I found Vlad's car already parked at the garage. “Boss.” He stood up and bowed when I walked inside the living room. “Hmm. Something came up, the reason I'm late.” I explained to him even though there was no need to. “It's fine, boss. I understand.” He replied to me, and I nodded. “So?” I sat on the couch across from him, waiting for him to give me the piece of information he had for me. “This is the information I found about Dimitri, boss.” Vlad dropped an iPad on the centre table and pushed it to my front. “Dimitri Pietro. Age twenty-nine. An orphan who grew up in an orphanage with his elder brother, the late Giovanni Pietro. He joined the Bratva family when he was j
Chapter 17Scarlett Wolff“Do you need me to help you with anything else?” Derek asked after he helped me get Alexa into the backseat of her car.“No, thanks. I'll take it from here.” I had turned to hop inside the car when he spoke up.“Did you drink earlier?” His question had me turning to him with my eyebrows raised.“Why do you ask?”“You can't drive while drunk.” He gave me a ridiculous reply that had me scoffing.“Do I look drunk?”“Not really. But you might get stopped on the way, and you know what that means. I don't mind giving you a ride.” He offered, and I huffed before telling him bluntly that I wasn't interested.“You will regret not accepting this offer later, Scarlett. Trust me.” He winked at me, causing me to huff and rolled my eyes. After Derek walked away, I hopped inside the car and drove off.It was just a few minutes into the drive when I saw cops on the road ahead, and I let out a sigh. I guess I'm going to get stopped. I was flagged down as I approached them, an
Chapter 16Scarlett WolffWe were welcomed inside the villa by the awful smell of alcohol and cigarettes. The first thing that made me uncomfortable there, but because I wanted to clear my head, I didn't leave immediately.“Is this an in-house party or something?” I leaned close to Alexa and yelled so she could hear me amid the loud music. Is this supposed to just be a party or a clubhouse, because that is the only place that could be this rowdy.“Let's just enjoy, girl.” She rolled her eyes at me as she held my hand while moving her body to the rhythm of the music playing. Seeing the familiar faces of our students made me ask myself if the celebrant was a student of my school.“How come almost all our classmates are here? Is your cousin our student or her boyfriend?” I pulled a puzzled look, asking Alexa curiously as she led me through the crowd.“Her boyfriend, the celebrant. He is a student of our school, in his finals, but not in our department.” I muttered an ‘oh’ after she expla
Chapter 15Scarlett WolffI had no idea who called Lucien on the phone, but I was surely so mad at whoever it was. How could he or she call while we were in the middle of something? It's so fucking annoying.“Ugh! It shouldn't have been now.” I cursed silently, raking my hair through my fingers. With the little strength left in me, I left the bed and went to the bathroom to have a warm bath.“Fuck!” I groaned silently after I stripped out of my dress, standing in front of the mirror. My nipples were standing firmly like they needed attention. Oops! They really needed it.My pussy lips were swollen and slimy. After I was done bathing and getting dressed, I left for the kitchen to go get something to eat as I was famished. However, as I descended the staircase, I was rather welcomed by the aroma of a delicious meal coming from the kitchen.I had not expected to find Lucien in the kitchen, but there he was, making food. I stood at the Doorstep, admiring him. How sleeves were rolled up
