Willa's POV
[I have to help him!] I told Kirsch as I pulled out my knife. I could help, at least for a little bit. There was no way Al could defeat seven warriors in their full wolf forms.
[Willa, you might not want to see this part.] Kirsch suddenly warned, [I think it would better if you--]
[I can't hide away and let them kill Al!] I shouted, realizing my body was shaking in fear at that thought. My whole life, I had been in this horrible situation where people have to fight for me while I hide behind them doing nothing!
[They can't. In the worst scenario, he would just shift.] Kirsch sighed. His tone was heavy. I failed to understand him.
[What?] I murmured, a cold shiver ran down my spine as my brain understood his words faster than me.
[Willa...] Kirsch sighed, closing his eyes, [If they know he is the mad rogue, they would...]
[Hunt him down.] I murmured, finishing his sentence as horror took over me. So...what? Al was ju
Do you think Willa helped? I wouldn't know what to do if someone is making such a huge sacrifice for me
Willa's POV I could see through the mindlink that Al grabbed the bottom jaw of the wolf and landed his right foot on its upper jaw. The wolf realized his mouth was going to be torn open and he let go of Al immediately, jumping back with his lips pulled back and baring his teeth. Blood was dripping from Al. Only one wolf left outside, it was the one with his throat kicked in by Al a moment ago. Al was safe. I thought in relief, and that was when I felt hot breath reaching the back of my neck. I turned as I swung my wounded hand at the wolf. I wanted to throw my blood at his face but he was too close. I hit him right on the face and my wrist snapped backward. But I got his mouth and nose! That was it! I got him! Though Kirsch might see through my secret, I could always explain. I took my broken wrist into my left hand as I stepped backward slowly, ready to face Kirsch's questions when that wolf falls down and whimpers in pain.
Willa's POV [Nice to hear from you again, Cerise.] Al's teasing came through when I put through the mind link. [It wasn't nice to shut me out like that! You almost give me a heart attack!] Kirsch looked pretty shaken up as he shouted at Al. Al laughed at Kirsch's outburst as he put me over his lap. I took off the coat around me and covered Al. His shirt was soaked in blood. His body was steaming hot after the battle. He must felt colder than usual. I snuggled into Al, licking him around the wound. It wouldn't heal him even if I had my wolf. I just wanted to comfort him. "Tickle." Al suddenly grunted. I looked up in surprise, only to see Cerberus's silly smile on Al's face. "Cerberus!" I threw myself into his arms, bursting into tears, "You saved me!" "I can do better." Cerberus snorted with pride on his face, apparently displeased that Al didn't let him out. [He was really good today!] Kirsch rose his eyebrow in
Willa's POV [Kirsch, Where is Nat?] Kirsch got me into the mind link as Al asked his question. Al's voice was calm, but I knew the situation was not good. He could barely keep seven wolves out of the cave, and now we couldn't stay in the cave, it was only harder to protect me in the open field, not to mention there were four more wolves. He had to shift if we wanted to survive. [She's close! You can shift if you have to, I can deal with Jason. For some reason, he didn't even mention that in the Alpha's meeting.] Kirsch said in a haste. That was so not Jason's style. [His people didn't know I'm the silver rogue yet. I don't know if it's only Jason's decision to keep that secret.] Al locked his eyes on the woman in command with a frown. [Maybe Jason didn't want to let anyone know because it would be harder for him to command his people to come here to die.] I said dryly. They wouldn't come if they knew there was a huge ma
Willa's POV We waited on the mountain top for Al's wounds to heal before I rode Cerberus down the mountain. By the time we got back to the Alpha's house, it was already dark. The bodies in the rooms were gone, and everything was back in place. I sat down on the bed, feeling like the past two days was like a long dream, not a nightmare, a sweet dream at that. Compared to Jason sending men after my life, I was more shocked that Al didn't belong to anyone else, and he liked me too! I finally found my happiness, and all I needed was to get through the next two new moon nights alive! It was at that moment that I remembered my medicine. I gave Al my medicine of the day! I had to take another. I got my ring out and took my medicine for the next day before I remembered-- The vial that Al drank was gone! Granny wouldn't let me share the medicine with anyone. To werewolves, wolfsbane has no cure. People would get suspicious if they knew
Al's POV I got out of my cloth after I turned on the showerhead and got Willa under the warm water. We took turns under the water to get wet before we both put on the shampoo, but Willa was only halfway in soaking her hair in the bubbles when I already finished rinsing. I squirted body soap into my hand as I turned to switch with Willa, but then I got lost in the view in front of me. "What? You just noticed that I'm naked?" Willa blinked in confusion, teasing me. "Your hair is beautiful. It looks like the sea in high tide with the foams on." I mumbled. The longing inside me was burning through me. "I'm standing in front of you naked, and my hair is what you are staring at?!" Willa giggled, rolling her eyes. "I doubt if I have any influence on you sexually." "You tease me more, I'll turn the water cold." I threatened, starting to put soap over my body. "Is that why you needed cold showers in the morning?!" Willa suddenly
Willa's POV "Morning, little one." Waking up beside Al was happiness I had never known. I snuggled into his chest. My hair was dry and smooth, and I was in my Grecian top. Guess Al finished the bath for me. "Would you like a kiss from Cerberus? He said to ask first." Al suddenly asked, taking my finger to his lips and pecking them one by one. "If I get to tell him that you are one." I grinned. Al's eyes flickered. "Willa woke." Cerberus grunted as he pulled me close to him, my stomach pressed against his abdomen. I gasped lightly at the crash, wrapping my arms around his neck for a kiss. He pressed his lips on mine before he sucked my lips. I parted mine and licked him on his lips for approval, he granted and took my tongue with his. His kiss was raw and wild, nothing like Al's restrained skillful ones. But I liked it. I put a leg over his waist and moved on top of him. He gripped my thigh and moved his hand higher until his fi
Willa's POV "You are upset at me because I addressed you by the title?!" I muttered in shock, not understanding the situation. This had never happened before, with ANY Alpha I knew. "Yes, because you are disobeying me." Kirsch rose an eyebrow, watching me tauntingly. I froze in fear. "I-I can't disobey you, Al-- I mean..." I totally lost the ability to talk to him. How could I show respect to him and disrespect him at the same time?! "I told you to not address me as Alpha." Kirsch narrowed his eyes at me as if he already knew my secret. Did he use his Alpha Aura to give that stupid command?! "I'm sorry..." I muttered as fear took over me. "You are sorry, what?" Kirsch teased, stepping closer. "I'm sorry, Kirsch!" I backed into the wall as I shouted his name to save my life. He laughed. "Good...little kitten," Kirsch smirked before he pulled back and give me room to breathe. Now that I calmed down
Willa's POV "Granny!" I muttered in shock, only to realize what it must look like to granny -- I had never hugged any men before in her memories, let alone an Alpha. She definitely thought I broke her "no relationship, no sex" rule. Not that I didn't, but with the wrong Alpha. "Alpha." Granny bared her neck at the Alpha, and Kirsch nodded slightly, letting go of me. "You are back, Scarlett. How's the trip?" Kirsch said to granny. "It was great, Alpha. I met with my parents and they are both well. I really appreciate your generosity." Granny bowed to Kirsch. She always used "visiting home pack" as an excuse to get out of the new pack for pack scouting. "That's good to hear. I asked Willa to move to my house for her safety's sake." Kirsch nodded at me with a polite smile. "My appreciation, Alpha." Granny bowed. I peeked at Kirsch secretly. He didn't seem upset when granny addressed him by the title! Kirsch pressed his lip
