MICHELLE’s POV. Enzo had an impromptu surgery at the hospital this morning so I opted to go to the office. We had a lengthy conversation about my pregnancy last night and all I can say is that I am super proud of the man I call my husband. He didn’t make me feel I was giving him another man’s children. He makes me feel like the children in my womb are his and that is one thing I will always respect him for; taking me and my babies into his home and treating us like we are his world. ENZO’s POV. As soon as I end the call, the smirk on my lips widens as I turn my attention back to the man who is standing before me. I had finished my surgery a while ago and I was scheduled for another one in an hour but that didn’t mean I didn’t know what was going on in my house and how Nicholas snaked his hand around my wife’s waist and that was a mistake he never should have made. MICHELLE’s POV.With trembling hands, I collect the paper from the doctor and continue to stare back at it. I was not expecting what he said a few minutes ago. How can I be pregnant? I gently open my eyes as the gloomy day dawns upon me. Last night was the most terrifying day of my life and I badly wanted to think it was a dream but here I am on the bed with Nicholas’s side cold and unlaid.Tears well up in my eyes but I try to push it to the back of my head, the divorce papers are lying on the table beside me while the pregnancy report is just by the side. Seeing it was one of Nicholas’s lawyers, I let out a heavy sigh before clicking on the receive button. “Hello” “Madam, sir Nicholas sent over the divorce papers via email. I think we should meet and discuss how to settle this. He want to add more alimony for you” “You can go ahead and process it.
