ENZO’s POV, I have just brought the car to a sudden halt in front of the hospital when the lady who is standing away from my car collapses. I rush out of the car and run towards her but by now she is already unconscious. Cussing silently, I gather her up in my arms and rush towards the hospital. I just arrived from the airport and I didn’t get a chance to go to my hotel before rushing to the hospital, apparently the patient waiting for me was getting worse. As soon as I enter the hospital, a group of doctors rush towards them and they all look surprised seeing me with a lady in my arms, i am also surprised myself but this is not the time for that. “Doctor Enzo” the hospital director bows lightly as he walks up to me. “Put her on bed rest and administer some medicine for her, she passed out just now. MICHELLE’s POV. The moment my eyes flutter open, I am shocked to see the man in front of my eyes. He has sharp features like Nicholas but his are more pronounced and his hazel eyes continue to stare back at me while his wavy hair is all over the place. I can’t lie, I am lost for words. How can a man be this beautiful apart from Nicholas! Everything about him is just so perfect that I can not take my eyes off of him, why did he have such rosy lips? Is he a vampire perhaps? A lot is going on in my head as I continue to stare at the angel in front of me forgetting that it was their noise that woke me up. “You are up” his deep and hoarse voice reached my ears and I can feel a knot in my stomach, his voice is also one to die for. MICHELLE’s POV. The ride back to the hotel is unusually quiet, he keeps receiving calls and giving orders in a way I don’t even understand. At one time, he even flares up and I even flinch,he isn’t like his looks. He is much more different. I am also not in the mood to start up a conversation so I just focus my attention on the road head and close my eyes. The thought of Nicholas and Natalia fills my heart and I can’t help but feel worse than I already feel. The fact that he brought her to our personal doctor shows how much he wants to get rid of my thoughts and everything that concerns me. couldn’t even believe it when he ventured into the office with his hand snaked around her waist. ENZO’s POV. After I drop her off and ride off, my mind keeps slipping back to her. The look on her face, the tears in her eyes and her overall demeanor. There is something about her that I can not quite describe, something about her keeps drawing me closer to her and I actually want to know what that is. The moment I saw her, I knew she was a wolf. An omega for that matter, I could sense her energy and what she can do. If she is such a strong wolf, why exactly was she crying? Why did she look so sad even at that? My thoughts are interrupted when my mobile begins to ring and seeing the caller ID, I already know what’s up. “Tell me” I say out loud as soon as I click on the receive button. “The patient is already awake, doctor” the director’s voice filters into my ear. “I am on my way back to the hospital, I will be there soon” After ending the call, I press my leg against the accelerator and speed off. NICHOLAS’s POV. The door flings open and her cologne filters into my nostrils. I raise my head from the paper I am reading and my eyes open wide for a moment. Natalia is dressed in a silk gown that clings perfectly to her body revealing her hourglass figure and that smirk on her lips makes me remember how much I have missed her and everything about her. With each step she takes towards me, the thoughts of Michelle drifts away. Yes, this is the woman I love and want to be with. This is the woman that will make my pack into a much bigger home than Michelle could ever do. Seeing her back at the hospital, I felt numb towards her. She means nothing to me anymore and I am going to make sure I prove that to Natalia beyond reasonable doubt. MICHELLE’s POV. After my aunt left, I just lay on the bed reminiscing about what she told me. How Natalia was trying to erase everything that concerns the pack house and even the mansion. She must be trying so hard then because three years is not something you can erase so easily even though it was very easy for Nicholas to do. My thoughts are interrupted when a soft knock resonates on the door. My forehead creases into a slight frown as I pull my body out of bed, I am not expecting anyone who is actually at the door. ENZO’s POV. As soon as I grab her waist, Michelle gasps but she doesn’t push me away which makes the smirk on my lips grow wider. She is actually a very feeble wolf unlike the tough attitude she is trying to portray. With my hand still on her waist, I can feel her entire body reverberate and that look in her eyes is one I will remember forever. The soft texture of her body, the slimness of her waist, the raw beauty emanating from her. Everything about her just intrigues me at this particular moment and I can not take my eyes off of her, not until she gently clears her throat and I jolt out of my reverie of thoughts. “What do you think you are doing?” She asks, her gaze still on me. MICHELLE’s POV. As soon as Enzo walks out of the room, a slight sigh leaves my mouth. Who exactly is he and how dare he try to act like we are acquainted? The more I think about it, the more it makes no sense. What exactly is his motive behind coming to my hotel room and asking me to go with him to Los Angeles? My thoughts are interrupted when a hand prods me and I turn to see Lucy staring back at me, a bewildered look lingering on her face. “I didn’t know you had another man, Michelle” she tells me, “I almost thought my brother did a bad thing for leaving you, the ideal Luna and mate” her voice is full of enough sarcasm towards me. A frown appears on my forehead, I know exactly what she is trying to do. She is trying to guilt trick me into thinking I am the problem when her brother was the one who brought his ex-girlfriend into our home and even got her pregnant.
