Chapter 24 Rude Awakening

Alpha Ares (POV)

There was a soft knock on the door.

“Enter,” I said.

Gennady appeared from behind the door, he was covered with dirt, and I could barely make out his eyes. He walked with a limp. That was alarming.

“What the hell happened to you?” I asked.

“I’ll tell you everything, but first can I get a glass of vodka first please,” He said with a painful expression on his face as he sat down on the chair next to the main table. The chair gave a little squeak as he put his whole weight on it.
