I couldn't have agreed with Lucy more. Stump River felt like I'd outgrown it. Sure, the people were decent, but decent wasn't enough. I craved something more, a city's energy, the constant buzz of life Lucy described in Toronto or Montreal. Maybe there, I could finally find someone who saw me as more than just a fling.
