Catherine pov.

As I lay on my bed, tears streamed down my face like a never-ending river, blurring my vision until the world around me became hazy. The weight of my sorrow was palpable as I felt my heart shatter into a million pieces. I had always believed that my son would never become like Zuku but I was wrong. Despite my best efforts, I could not bring him up to be a better person, and I realized that I should have acted sooner.
