Avalor had become even more impatient With all the bad news that everyone kept feeding his ears with bitter words.
“Alpha.” The messenger who had just gave the message that the new he just sent couldn’t find her. He wrapped his tightly into a fist,” so you mean to tell me that Melissa vanished into thin air or are you saying she flew out of this territory that even security cameras can’t find her?” Alpha Avalor questioned, just when the messenger was hopeless and ready and ready to bear with whatever was about to happen, Alpha Avalor beta walked in. “Alpha, we seems to be searching the wrong place all these days.” His beta said to him as he told with an interesting stare, chasing the messenger who was forever grateful to the beta for walking in at that time. “So what do you mean by we have been searching the wrong place all these while?” Avalor asked before taking a seat, the beta dropped his laptop on the Alpha’s desk so the alpha would be able to see everything he was about to demonstrate. “As you can see, the last time any footage was seen of Melissa….it was very brief with Melissa crawling almost out of te territory and the suddenly there was no traces of her.” The beta explained while Avalor tried to understand were he was heading with everything he just said. “Are you saying she vanished or you found were she is?” He asked ou of curiosity. “I went to that exact location where us was last seen and as I continued to move forward I entered another realm.” The beta said with a shocked stared. “Haha, what do you mean another realm? You must have mistaken the word realm for another territory.” Alpha Avalor joked but when he noticed the firm look of his beta he alpha became serious. “So you are saying she wandered into the realms of the humans alone?” He asked the beta who nodded with smile. “She is not safe out there, that place is even treacherous than here in the pack.” Alpha Avalor said finally understanding the raft of what was happening. Chapter 14—Avalor's Concern Alpha Avalor couldn't believe what he had just heard. Melissa, his mate, had somehow wandered into the realm of humans. His heart raced with worry as he imagined all the potential dangers she could face in that unfamiliar territory. "Are you certain she entered the human realm?" Avalor asked his beta, his voice laced with concern. "Yes, Alpha. I followed her trail and it led me to a portal that transported me into the human world," the beta explained, his eyes filled with a mix of fascination and worry. Avalor's mind raced with thoughts of the dangers Melissa could face in that world. Humans could be unpredictable and often posed a threat to supernatural beings like themselves. He couldn't bear the thought of Melissa being harmed or worse. "We need to find her, Beta. We can't leave her alone in that world," Avalor stated firmly, determination fueling his words. His beta nodded in agreement, fully understanding the urgency of the situation. They both knew that time was of the essence if they were to locate Melissa and bring her back safely. "I will gather a team and we'll search every inch of the human realm if we have to," the beta assured him. Avalor shrugged,” you aren’t going ther alone, you guys would just be lost as Melissa but with me we would find her.” Avalor said. “Alpha! You can’t go to a land you know nothing about.” His beta objected but he seemed to have already made up his mind. “I have been to the human realm before and even had a life of my own there so I would find Melissa quickly and secondly, if I march into their realm with guards fully armed, the people there would think we are crazy and have us arrested and melissa might sniff us out and run away again.” Alpha Avalor said as he continued to plot a plan in his mind. “Take me to the place you saw Melissa last.” Avalor ordered, he was ready to reach any rate just to find Melissa. Alpha Avalor called for an emergency meeting with the council members of the pack. As they gathered in the grand hall, tension filled the air. The council members knew that something important must have happened for the alpha to summon them in such haste. Avalor stood at the center of the hall, his gaze fixed on each council member. He took a deep breath, his voice strong and commanding as he addressed them. "I have called this meeting to inform you of a grave situation," he began. "My mate, Melissa, has somehow wandered into the realm of humans. She is alone and vulnerable, and we must find her before any harm befalls her." Gasps and murmurs erupted from the council members, their faces filled with concern and worry. Melissa was not only the mate of their alpha but also a member of their pack. They all felt a sense of responsibility to ensure her safety. "But Alpha," one council member spoke up, "entering the human realm is dangerous. You do not know their ways, and they may pose a threat to you as well." Avalor nodded, understanding their concerns. "I am aware of the risks, but I cannot simply sit here and do nothing while my mate is in such grace danger in an unknown land.” “Alpha!” One of the elders told up to speak but Alpha Avalor stopped him by raising his hands up. “You guys words won’t really change much because I already made up my mind and I am leaving tonight.” Alpha Avalor said watching the council elders exchange glance amoungst themselves.. “Who would command your people before your return?” The elders asked. “My beta.” Avalor said as his beta from behind suddenly had a wide smile plastered on his face. The maids quickly began to prepare all Alpha Avalor belongings as his elders continued to plead with him.“I don’t have a choice!!! You are me decide to take such drastic decisions, I pleaded with you to give me more time but you threatened to give what I worked so hard for me to my half brother!!” Avalor yelled at the elders words of plea.“Fine, we would give you more time to find a mate.” The elders said making Alpha Avalor chuckle.“What don’t you get in everything I have been saying? Melissa is my mate!” He yelled In annoyance to the fact that they think he stole Melissa from someone.“But she wasn’t your mate?” “Is it what you heard from that bastard territory! Is he still claiming Melissa as his own, I was made her second chance mate by the moon goddess.” Avalor was more frustrated from within than he even sounded.“We believe you Alpha Avalor but what we don’t want is for you to have to face any dangerous thing in the human realm.” They pleaded while the maid brought down jus
Avalor tried to cover his face but it was already late.“Mr Avalor Brandon?” The police men suddenly questioned staring at him in utter shock.“Yes it’s me.” Avalor replied with a smile as he walked up to them.“You thought I was a stranger? I am back.” Avalor said with a smirk. The police officers were taken aback by Avalor's revelation. They had no idea that the man pacing by the roadside was actually a well-known business tycoon. They quickly regained their composure and greeted him respectfully."Welcome back, Mr. Avalor Brandon," one of the officers said, slightly embarrassed by their initial confusion. "We had no idea it was you. Is there anything we can assist you with?"Avalor smiled, appreciating their professionalism. "Thank you for the warm welcome. Actually, I would appreciate it if you could escort me back to my skyscraper. It's been a while since I've been away, and I'm sure everyone will be surprised to see me."The officers nodded and led Avalor to their van. As they
“How the fuck could you do something like that.” Sam, who was now sitting opposite Avalor and sipping a glass of wine said.“I knew losing her would be fast so I had to secure her as mine.”Alpha Avalor said to Sam who chuckled.“Thats fucked up, but I thought you two were are already meant for each other why else did you need to find an alternative way?” sam asked and I sighed in frustration, how else was I going to explain this things that he would even understand me.“She already had an actual mate but the dumbass decided to reject and I was picked to represent him.” I said but all Sam did was stare at me like I hadn't said everything yet.“Thats man you said rejected your mate and missing Luna, hope he is dead?” Sam questioned.“Sam, he is not dead…why would you think that?” Avalor questioned making Sam wonder if it was really his friend or not.“How could you keep such a person alive? I never knew you to be so weak and decided to just keep the bastard roaming around and mostly ali
Lucas stood there by the running fountain, a sinister grin spread across his face. In his hand, he held a necklace, containing Melissa's blood. He had devised a plan to confuse Avalor's senses and connection to Melissa by sending her scent towards him, ensuring that Avalor would never find her first.Lucas revealed in his twisted victory, knowing that he held power over Avalor's desperate search. He believed that if Melissa couldn't be his, then he would make sure Avalor would never have her either. It fueled his ego to see Avalor's frustration and despair as he searched in vain for his beloved. With a malicious chuckle, Lucas carefully concealed the necklace, ensuring that its influence would continue to mislead Avalor. He relished the thought of Avalor's growing desperation and the pain it caused him.Meanwhile, Avalor continued to search, his senses on high alert, desperately trying to locate Melissa. But unknown to him, Lucas had manipulated the situation, making it nearly impossi
It has been a few months since my escape from the human world and I have never been so happy. I sat up on my bed as I stared at the wall clock and I was still very early for work.I yearned out loudly with a wide smile, I tapped my hand twice and the curtains opened in both directions. This was the kind of life I wanted and nothing else. I could live the rest of my generations in the human realm if it meant being away from Alpha Avalor and Lucas.I stood up and as usual took a shower before picking out from the thousand dresses I have the perfect one to cover up my pregnancy and I got a very good one. After making sure I looked excellent and my pregnancy wasn’t obvious, I stepped out of my bedroom as my next job was to make breakfast for Richard as he now always looked forward to the morning dishes I made for him.“Good morning damsel.” Richard said with a wide smile.“Good morning, I see you are eager for today’s breakfast.” I said to him before turning on the gas.“You always find t
I tried to get my self from the hit while few other employees rushed up to the scene, and when I noticed my tummy was now opened for everyone to see I am pregnant, I stood up immediately and covered tha jacket very well but it was still too late for that.Almost all the worker had seen I was pregnant and were all staring at me in surprise and great shock, I knew what they were all thinking as they stared. They must think the baby I am expecting belongs to Richard and that’s why he always favored them.“I am so sorry Lisa, I didn’t know I would hit you and I was also in such great hurry.” She lied but her sinister smile showed it all out too well.“It’s fine, I guess I was just too weak.” I said still trying to act natural but the employees weren’t making it possible as they all continued to stare.“Are you pregnant Melissa.” One of the board members who also ran to our midst when I fell asked and now I felt so embarrassed and frustrated.“Ugh…” I stammered but Lucy didn’t even let me
After the news of my pregnancy spreading through out the whole company, lots of people I knew acted like they ruled the office changed and even the once I was friends with she came careful, there was even a tie I was having lunch alone and I heard them claiming of how carefulThey had to talk to me because they think I would be the next owner of the company since my child was going to be this huge company, but I decided to keep quiet and act like I didn’t hear anything. I concentrated more on my job and juts tried to act cool about all their gossips and words but the baby in me kept pulling me, I always felt weak even when I think I am very strong.Richard also began to notice how weak I was becoming and pleaded with me to go to the hospital but I was still frightened about saying the truth.“You should at least check up on yourself, I always knew pregnant women to be always careful and checking on their health to be sure there was no problem whatsoever but you just take painkillers
“Was that why you don’t have a wife?” I asked Richard out of curiosity.“Yes, it turns out they would all want to try all their best to secure a child for w so they can have access to my property but it doesn’t work out and when they complain to me I have no choice but to tell them the truth that I am infertile.” He said trying his best to hold in the tears I could feel coming from his voice.“They all end up leaving.” I whispered feeling even more bad that I had to ask.“Even if the decide to stay, they only stare for the money it some of them still want a child with me as they find all the wealth meaningless if there isn’t a child to spend it on.” He replied me, I sat up and tapped his shoulder gently in an attempt to cool him down.“No one loves me, all they want is the money that’s why sometimes I always wished I could get the chance to pick how my destiny would go and this time I would throw away all the wealth and stick to having a child of my own. A child I could proudly call m
