CHAPTER 19

The journey back to Blackstone's territory was a blend of victory and tiredness. Our win came with a price, and everyone's faces showed the strain. But we had a quiet hope, feeling stronger after facing big challenges.

As we moved along, I noticed something odd happening to my body. The injuries from the fight were getting better really fast. Cuts that should take days to heal were starting to scab, and bruises were fading quickly. It was like magic.

“Aurora,” Xander's voice pulled me from my thoughts. He fell into step beside me, his eyes filled with a mixture of concern and pride. “How are you holding up?”

I looked at my arm and flexed it. A bad cut started to get better right in front of my eyes. “I'm… healing,” I replied, still somewhat in disbelief. “Faster than I should be.”

Xander nodded, a small smile playing at the corners of his mouth. “It seems your White Wolf powers extend beyond just combat. This could be incredibly useful in the battles to come.”
