How many days have I been here? The man looked at her and started to laugh. Seriously? Arystyn looked at him and yelled, what? Why are you laughing?, and what the Hell is your name? He eyed her with curiosity noting what a Hellcat she was. Since you asked so politely I will tell you my name he added sarcastically, my name is Alex.
Alex explained to Arystyn that he found her in the Alley behind 7th street Market and had brought her here and nursed her back to health and that it was touch and go for a while but she had pulled through. Then he looked at her and said "That was 2 years ago."Arystn staggered backward as things started to go black. This was the craziest thing she'd ever heard! How had she been here for 2 years and just now becoming aware of it? Arystyn faded off into unconsciousness.Waking up Arystyn looked around and noticed that Alex was still in the room. How could this be? Werewolves? Was there such a thing? Arystyn looked at Alex, tell me more. Alex told her that once someone is attacked by a werewolf if it doesn't kill them it turns them into a werewolf, in her case a Luna. A Luna is a term for the subservient female werewolf. Oh Hell no! She wouldn't be subservient to any man! Arystyn had prided herself on being a strong independent woman and that wasn't going to change no matter what. What about Julianne? Arystyn could not believe that they had found Julianne so quickly! She wanted to run in and wrap her arms around Jules and show her that she was alive but Alex said she couldn't show herself until she learned to control when she shifted. Now she knew Jules was ok she could do anything she had to to keep her safe. For the next 2 days, Alex worked with Arystyn to help her learn self-control in preparation for the upcoming full moon transformation. She wasn't completely ready and would have to be shackled with iron chains to ensure the safety of herself and others when the full moon was at its peak but at least she was somewhat better prepared. Arystyn had worked long and hard and after 6 months had finally learned how to control when she shifted and was at full capacity with her strength and speed. She had worked endless hours at learning fighting techniques that Alex insisted that she needed. Arystyn was still extremely angry at Darian and Julianne and wanted nothing more than to get revenge! All she could think about was ripping Darian’s throat out the way he had done hers. Slowly Arystyn regained her memories of the night she was attacked. She remembered Darian's wolf form ripping at her throat with his teeth and then Julianne dragging her by her feet into the alley before she lost consciousness. What she couldn’t remember or understand was why. She was able to slowly regain her life but was under constant supervision from the pack and remained in residence at the pack home. Arystyn went back to the pack house to gather her thoughts. She was in her room when there was a knock at the door. "Come in" Arystyn yelled. Alex walked in, Do you have a minute? he asked. Arystyn stood in front of Fredrickson’s Art Gallery. She took a deep breath and opened the door. She walked into the gallery walked straight up to Darian Fredrickson and threw her arms around him. “Oh, Darian I am so happy to see you!” Darian's face went pale and his words stammered as he tried to get over his shock, oh baby I’m so glad you have been found safe and sound! Arystyn wanted nothing more than to yell and curse at him and tell him to give her the fucking money back that he had stolen from her, but instead pretended as if she didn’t know about her inheritance and that nothing was wrong.
