With every step, I felt angry with myself. Why am I just silent? Why do I think cornered, right? Am I serious about this game?

"I should be the one asking. Why are you still here? Aren't you guys going to dinner?" I answered wearily.

"What the hell is that?" he seethed.

"What is it? What?" I knit my eyebrows.

"I'm asking you, baby girl! The rule is after I ask you a question, you have to answer it, not reply to me with another question.

I clenched my fists, holding my mood steady. Can someone understand? I'm a pregnant woman, and I'm trying desperately to control my feelings.
