CHAPTER 22

FREYA POV

I sat on the floor all night crying my eyes out. Kye hasn't come back since last night. I'd rather he kill me than to keep me here like this, I knew he had feelings for me but that was all I thought it was, feelings. I didn't know he was obsessed with me.

I can't forget the look in his eyes yesterday, the words he said to me. I was supposed to meet Ace today. I was supposed to be with him today.

He will notice something is wrong when I don't show up. I know that. I heard the door opening and I stood up quickly. Kye walked in and I saw some guards outside the door. He quickly closed it. I sat on the bed and I didn't spear him a glance. There was still a bruise on my face from yesterday.

"I had to sleep in your room last night. Did you enjoy mine?" He said. He dropped a glass of water on the table. I was terribly thirsty, I just drank the water in one go and I didn’t give him an answer. The water tasted odd though but I didn't think about it.
