2025-03-14 01:46:16I get to my chamber and strip down for a shower, I get in and lather myself from head to toe before rinsing.
I step out and dry off before wrapping a towel around my waist, I look at myself in the steamed mirror, I’m not the worse looking guy out there so where the hell is my mate? I have wondered if perhaps she was already dead, killed some how but I trust the God and Goddess would not be so cruel to me, to leave me on my own for the rest of my life. I stand 6’ 6” I carry my brown hair long and keep them back in a ponytail, I’ve grown out my beard and keep it neat, Hazel eyes stare back at me with Gold around my iris, a mark of my royal heritage and blood. The alarm goes off around the pack which means we are under attack, I hear screams and I hurry out the bathroom and quickly dress in a sweat pants and vest and run towards the screaming and crashing sound. I get outside to see she-wolves and pups running and warriors running in the opposite direction, I follow after them, running full speed, it’s been so long since I’ve had some action, I am pumped! I get there in time to see wolves trying to drag away teen and small pups, my Lycan roars and all eyes turn to me but by then it was too late, I had already lunged into the air, shredded and shifted into my Lycan form, I tore through the rogues in a matter of minutes ensuring to leave one badly injured but alive, with a roar I ran off into the forest, following my instincts and a very peculiar scent. I saw shadows up ahead darting from one tree to another, they don’t have shape or form which makes this even stranger, they seem to be running away from me, I pick up speed and make a calculated guess as to which tree one of them would choose to jump to, I was right, I landed on one dragging my left claw through it, a piercing screech was released followed by the shadow taking form of some sort of bird, and flew away leaving bits of itself in my grip, I turned and ran back to the castle with whatever the hell this is in my hand and took it straight to our Herbologists and Potions masters. They placed it in a jar so they could study it and I made my way to our prison after first passing into my chamber to shower and change, I’m a gentleman after all I must introduce myself with proper respect. So what I will do for every Three fighter or volunteer sent to the Royal City I will in turn send One Royal guard, as my guards are specially trained and much stronger than the regular wolves so that would even out the ratios and make up the ones they are losing, and it would only be a temporary arrangement until the fighters training is completed, once they've gotten to or close to my guards level they will return to their packs and will expect to be called upon should this war make fruition , this would just be advanced training for that possibility and it's a plus that the packs would have fighters with the kind of training given to the Royal Guards here, extra security.
