Nicole also opened a job vacancy to become a maid in her mansion, many were interested when they knew how much salary they got, but there were a few that caught Nicole's attention, she gave both Omega photos to her mate before deciding who she would accept.

That night after work, Matt came into the room to meet Nicole, he saw his mate was busy looking at something in front of her on their bed.

"What are you looking at? You looked so serious you didn't even realize I was home" Matt said, he walked over to Nicole on the bed and kissed her forehead.

"Ah i'm sorry, have a seat first, I would like to point out the candidates to become a maid here, who do you think would suit me?" Nicole held out two photos in her hands, she showed them to Matt.

"Those who were chosen?" Matt said.

"Yeah, those that fit my criteria," Nicole said.

"I don't know, but I think she would suit you," Matt said.

"Ah it turns out we chose the same person, I also chose her but I'm not sure, then I'll tell her to come tomorrow, she can immediately work to help Raya while Mona is off," Nicole said and Matt just nodded, he went to the bathroom to clean up after a hard day's work.

"I'll think about it later, but for now, I can handle it myself" Matt said and Nicole just buried her face in his arms.

Matt worked at his father's company as a CEO, he was born into the strongest Alpha family. His father is known as a strict Alpha, since the beginning his father wanted the marriage to happen, he wanted a grandson from Matt and Nicole, so he didn't have to worry about who would continue his business in the future. But until now that hasn't happened, Matt always makes excuses when Matt's parents invite him to dinner, fortunately his parents don't come to Korea often, they stay in Australia to take care of other business.

Matt knew what they would discuss if Matthew and Nicole came there, and it would stress Nicole, he just didn't want that to happen. It's been enough for Nicole to live in anxiety, he wants Nicole to let go of what can't possibly happen.

The next day

That afternoon, Nicole was waiting for the new maid to arrive, she couldn't wait to get to know her in person, she was sure this woman would suit her. It wasn't long before Raya knocked on her bedroom door, it seemed the new maid had come, she came out to greet her and sure enough when she headed to the living room, she saw a innocent woman standing while bowing her head.

"Hi" Nicole said and the woman immediately raised her head.

"Hi," the woman said.

"Are you Kate?" Nicole said.

"Yes, I'm Kate," Kate said, looking shy at Nicole.

"Sit first, you don't need to be shy, you will be part of this family, your job is not difficult" Nicole said and Kate sat down.

"But before we get into that, I'd like to know why you applied for this job?" Nicole said.

"To be honest, I need a job for my mother's medical expenses, I do any job to earn money, but no one wants to take me because I only graduated from junior high school, and when I saw the job vacancies you posted on the internet, I thought this job was right for me, You don't give any conditions except to be able to cook and be a good listener, I always do it at home, according to my mother, my cooking is the best and I always listen to my mother tell stories," Kate said.

"Make me your mother's favorite dish," Nicole said and Kate just nodded, Nicole then showed her where the kitchen was and there was Raya there.

"Raya, introduce this is Kate and Kate this is Raya, she will be your friend here, actually there is one more maid, but she is on day off because her hand is injured, and Raya, today, Kate will be cooking lunch for me, I want to try how good the food is," Nicole said and Raya just nodded, she made space for Kate.

"Are you nervous if Raya and I pay attention to you here?" Nicole said.

"No my mom does that too she's scared I'll burn her kitchen down" Kate says and they just laugh together.

It took quite a while for Kate to cook and finally she finished, she served the dish to Nicole and Raya who were waiting for her.

"Is this your mother's favorite?" Nicole said she served Japchae with Sundubu Jjigae and warm rice. She cooks everything quickly.

"Yeah, my mom loves it, it's really simple food, but my mom says to make good food, we don't need to make anything complicated, just simple dishes cooked with heart" Kate said and Nicole also tried it, to be honest, the two dishes were not Nicole's favorite food, she liked western food more than Korean food, but she was quite surprised when she tasted Kate's cooking. She made both meals much more enjoyable.

"Wow, I have to tell the truth about your cooking, what your mother said is true, your cooking is the best, I never liked Korean food like this, only Matt eats it, but your food is amazing" Nicole said.

"Matt? who is he?" Kate said.

"He's my Alpha, don't worry, as long as you work here, you won't meet him, he'll never come into the kitchen, and you'll never come out of the kitchen, congratulations Kate, you can work from today. Raya please deliver Kate goes to her room, after that take her back to the living room, I want to talk to you, it's about some rules that you have to follow while you work here," Nicole said and Kate nodded.

Raya took Kate to see their room, the maid's room was in the basement, there was a large room with several rooms, a kitchen and a small TV room, more like an underground house. Looks comfy.

"This is your room, that's mine and there's Mona's room, but she's not there, Mrs. Nicole asked her to take a day off and she returned to her parents' house until her hands healed," Raya said.

"Ahh thank you," Kate said.

"Don't worry, Mrs. Nicole is not a fierce person, in fact she really cares about us, her maids, we work here just for her, but because you replace Mona to cook, you will also cook for Mr. Matthew," Raya said.

"All right, are there so many rules?" Kate said.
