Alvis

Anger stirred within me as I watched them walking out together. He had his filthy hand on her waist, but she did not try pushing him off.

What was happening between them, and how come I'd never seen him before?

There was something strange about him too, something dark. He smelled like a werewolf, yet different from all of us. A special kind of breed? I needed to know more.

I watched them on their date at the restaurant and noticed something strange. Lindsey was sitting in front of Kai with her eyes closed, not moving a muscle. It worried me because she looked completely out of it, as if she was in some kind of trance.

Part of me wanted to walk over there and interrupt as Lindsey looked pale and ghostly, but I held myself back. It didn't look like anything was hurting her. Kai didn't even touch her.

Well, not exactly. At some point, I did see him hold her hand. She didn't open her eyes then. Instead, Kai closed his eyes too. Then they were both gone.

Gone where?

I had no idea.
