ROSITA LAUREN’S POV

I ran towards to give him a tight hug as he twirled me around the room, “I didn’t know that you would be here!”

“Well I’m also a business owner and participated at the best company in our city, so here I am,” Rupert winked, making me chuckle.

“Is there someone with you right now?” I curiously asked, so he nodded before biting his lower lip.

“Y-Yes, and I don’t think it’s a good idea for you to see her right now,” He claimed, which made me stop before checking who was behind him.

I bit my lower lip after seeing that he was with Hayleigh Baltazar, who was preoccupied with speaking with the press.

Images of her doing something to me came running back to my head as if they were the dead hunting me.

“But I doubt she would notice you because she likes the press so much because they talk so good about her image as a supermodel,” Rupert informed me.

“I-I’m only surprised that she came with you,” I muttered, “No offense because it seems like she hates you,”

Rupert chuckle
