Storm

I'm not sure what happened. Quinn woke up and instantly began to panic. He kept muttering about being drugged and tricked. At first, my dad and Darius forced me to stay back.

Fighting with the guards, though, made them give in.

"We have to," my dad looks at Darius.

"Please, just let me try!" I look at him.

"He's already burnt half the room, Storm!" His words are loud, and I look at Quinn. The fire is bigger than I've ever seen it. My words are ignored. I try and rush forward as they throw the water, but my mum's arms wrap around me and hold me in place.

Screaming, I push her off me and watch Quinn shift.

"He's safe!" I shout and rush towards him as he starts to move. Placing my hand on his chest, I try to calm him. He stares down at me, and I try to smile back at him.

They were ready to chain him down, which is wrong.

“Please, Quinn!” I look at him, sensing he's on the edge of running. He moves slowly, and I watch everyone tense as he grabs me and lifts me. My body wraps around
