Chapter 63

Jason’s pov

It was strange seeing Ares talking to Lyla last night. She used to suspect her, but suddenly they seemed close. There was a sense of familiarity and a new bond that had formed between them.

“Josh,” I called as I walked towards my parked truck. “Meet me at the border in five minutes, you’ll be going with me to Killian’s pack” I informed him.

I drove steadily to the pack’s border and found Josh already waiting for me. “Get in.” We drove steadily to the Jade wolf pack. I still have to properly thank him for his help.

Two hours later, we slowly pulled up at the Jade wolf border. The guards let us through after confirming our identity. I even recognise two of the guards. They went with us to Maverick’s pack. They had a look of awe on their faces as we nodded in their direction.

We pulled up and made our way over to his office. I’m sure the guards already informed him of our arrival. As if confirming my thoughts, he was outside already waiting for us.
