The Raid

“I don’t think this is a good idea. But we are out of options at this point. If we don’t get something here soon, we won’t be able to keep fighting.” Nathan said tiredly. “Please, whatever you do, just be careful. Don’t do anything rash or stupid.” He advised directly to me. “Remember Karen, you’re going to be a valuable target, especially if the Zargans know you’re running around town. Please remember not to be an idiot.”

Rude! I mean, I know I can be dumb… “I got this Nathan! I’ll make sure we get what we need.” I reassured him as Aaron and Arthur nodded in agreement. And much more! I smirked and summoned a large portal back to the Mage house we had stayed in previously. They followed me through. Before I shut the portal, I looked back and saw that there were several Mages looking in at us with a variety of expressions on their faces. In the distance, I could see Conor and Bart watching with solemn looks on their faces. I got this Conor. I know what I’m doing- I think.
