Sometime later, when Naomi is reading one of the books that Derek gifted she heard a car horn sound. It was Derek, his mom and dad were with him.

Her dad is at home and she guessed they were going to talk about this now. Derek looked at Jorge’s window and then his eyes turned to Naomi’s window. She smiled at him and he smiled back at her. His eyes told her that he’s sad and for the first time, Naomi’s heart raced to see him. She didn’t mind it and came out of the room to greet her Uncle and Aunt.

Dylan went to talk with Vincent, Anne and Ashley sat in the living room. Derek was standing alone near the stairs hesitating to go and meet Jorge. Naomi came to his rescue.

“Derek,” Naomi got his attention, “Come with me,” she reached out her hand and he held it securely.

“Are you angry at me?” he asks.

“Do I look angry?” she smiles, “It’s your choice, Derek. I am glad
