REGINA

I felt as if I was in a war, fighting with everything I had, but I was losing. Somehow, I kept going through the circles of our argument finding a way to either make sure Lionel is shamed for what he had done, or I find a way to end the marriage and walk away smoothly. Either way, it was like he just kept playing his cards right, trying to put it all on me and have me carry the cross.

Then here he was, asking me to run away like Marcy did to bring shame to my pack and endanger everyone of us. Did I think I was that much of a fool?

“I am not running, Lionel.” I made the point clear again. “I will remain here until I find a way to cut you off my life for good, so you don’t go on sending some little spy to monitor my life, pretending to be a friend when he’s just an informant to you!”

I saw a new flame in his eyes and knew another topic was to begin, one that clearly had him flaming up in anger before we even started.

“What had you sa

LIONELIt felt like coals of fire were rained on my head.I wanted to grab her, tear her apart and devour her until there was nothing left. Who the hell did she think she was? Was she doing it all on purpose? Was she just trying to get on my nerves to bring out a part of me I didn’t want her to see?Well, she was to be right out thankful that she didn’t get to see that part of me indeed, because she may have not been so lucky as to walk out alive.I could hear Lucius from within me now as I paced just after she had the guts to walk out on me.“Don’t worry, Regina. Our game just began. You think you hate me, but you’ve not seen the part of me that would awake the hate in you.” I growled to myself.I heard Lucius snicker. It’s your fault. He said in my thoughts.I bit my lower lip. “Lucius, please… Don’t make it get any worse than it already is.”Yes, it’s your fault and that’s why you’re so disturbed. That’s why

REGINAGwen had to hear just how it had gone. I headed for her house as soon as I was done for the day but Frankenstein met me first. “Gina… what in the world was happening there with the boss?” He asked. I realized just then. He had heard the entire argument or maybe he just heard bits of it. “What happened there was what should have happened a long time ago.” I replied. “Someone needed to begin to tell Lionel the truth.”“You could be putting us all in a deep mess, Gina. Do you know how dangerous it could be if Lionel takes it up against us? For me, I may lose a career. But you… you’re about to become his mate. Things could become much worse for you!”“I don’t really care anymore, Frank. Lionel needs me to be around to make my life a living hell just as he plans. I’ve gotten to understand this but I refuse to give him my feelings free of charge. I’d have to hold up against him sometimes as well.”“Have you tried working things out with him… I mean… considering the relationship be

LIONEL For now, I was good with the peace I felt. Maybe it was the fact that I was able to relieve myself as a wolf and direct my frustrations at something or I had met Grandpa and as usual, he had a way of making things look alright at my most taunting moments. I stayed through with him that night, watching the sun set, the moon take over and then all the stars began to take shape. Soon, I could tell that Grandpa was already feeling sleepy. “You should go in and take some rest.” I mentioned. He shrugged. “Yeah… yeah. I'll go to sleep now.” He replied as he turned to make his way inside. “You’re not a bad person, Lionel. You know this, right?” He suddenly asked. I was not sure what he meant but I nodded. I joined him inside soon enough and before I knew what was up, it was daybreak. There were several official stuff to handle but my mind was right there - on Sun Entertainment. I didn’t want to see her, not exactly… not after the extremely annoying encounter we had the previous d

First, in the lady known as Igea and her friend Beatrice, or in the woman judge Brenda or the other friend of Beatrice whose name I didn’t give two fucks to have in mind, I couldn’t tell who was more annoying.Right there on set, I reminded myself that according to the plan between me and Frankenstein, the two of us must not lose our heads at the same time. That is, if Frankenstein was to blow out, I was to remain as cool as ever. The goddess up there knew I did my best to remain as cool as ever. But how in the world do you play a role all the way to the last scene, and then in that final moment, you suddenly make up your mind that you’re not finishing the movie. What the actual fuck?Frankenstein had lost his cool and I remained as good as ever even when I felt like hopping upon Beatrice and ripping her into bits. I was being just okay with everything. Then t

REGINAIt felt like the plan was to tear me and Gwen apart forever. Gwen was like a sister and more to me. I had been telling myself all along that even though I would marry Lionel, I would never let it get in the way of our friendship, but something down there in my heart was telling me that it may not be as easy as I thought.Who knew Lionel’s next move as soon as I became his bride? He may choose to bond me up and lock me in his mansion, or take me to some far away country, away from my family where he could do with me whatever he wished in any way he pleased.I just couldn’t figure out what the future had for me… for Gwen… for Ruby… and that was what scared me the most. All of it was terrifying but I was only trying to be strong.I embraced Gwen now as tears came down my eyes as well.“Getting married to Lionel would not change anything, you know that, right? I mean, we’ve talked about this.” I replied, trying to sound as casual as ev

LIONELLadies were the easiest to set up against each other. You just needed to use a bait, and they would both fall in. The bait had to be what they both wanted. It was like a test I had for Beatrice – how truly desperate are you to have your way and get what you want?If truly Beatrice was determined enough, she was definitely going to play a move on Regina. I couldn’t wait to see what that move would be. It was time to watch the game play out. After a day at work, it was most depressing to have to return to my home. The house was beginning to look like some tourist center or a location for a carnival. There were workers of every kind – decorators, chefs, caterers, waiters, artists, and so on, coming in with their wares and filling up the entire space with their activities, all in preparation for the wedding.“It’s three days to come, son.” Grandpa had said cheerfully. “In three days, the mating shall take place.”I was not sur

REGINA I couldn’t tell just how many enemies I was making so it was advisable to open the letter while the delivery man was still there. What if it was a letter bomb?I drew closer to him as I opened the letter and scanned for the name of the sender. I wasn’t sure I could comprehend what I was seeing. Marcy? How was that possible? My heart skipped a beat, but I knew just then that the letter was harmless. “Thank you.” I dismissed the dispatch rider and kept the letter to myself as I hailed a cab.Now in the cab, I took out the letter completely and read its contents. Dear sister, How else do I explain to you that everything that has happened so far was never what I planned for you. I am disturbed, distressed and panicked whenever I think about you. Truly, I am with the love of my life, but it does not change much. I still love you and would always love you as a sister irrespective of wher

LIONEL “There’s something off about that dispatch rider and what he was doing with her…” I whispered to Lucius as I hurried out of the office. “Did you see what she received? It wasn’t some parcel she must have ordered from a store. It was a letter! Who gives letters through delivery?”“Hey!” Frankenstein had come from nowhere, obstructing my view. “Hey!” I replied, too disorganized to have just waved him off. “How may I help you, Frank? I have something else I need to attend to now, so kindly wait behind.”“I… I want to thank you very much! You have done an awesome job!”“Excuse me?”“We’re still partying! We’re celebrating. REGINA It was so dark anyone could have stumbled and fallen but I could easily glide through thanks to my night vision. “Ray, come this way. Hold my hand and let’s go together.” I could hear Ray’s discomfort, stumbling over the rocky grounds as he tried to keep up. I held his arm now and continued through the cave. I could still spot the wolf ahead, gliding through gracefully, checking every now and then to see if we were still following. Then suddenly, the wolf vanished from sight. I was still so busy running as fast as I could that I didn’t even notice that the wolf was already out of sight. When I took notice, however, I came to a stop. Ray stopped beside me, holding his knees as he coughed uncontrollably. Neither of us said a word because we were too busy struggling with our breaths. But I was also too busy trying to find the wolf. I couldn’t see anything. Even with my night vision, this felt darker th

LIONEL They would only find their casualties and of course, they should be wiser next time. I heard them from inside and then they were out in the dark again, by the shores of the beach with their guns poised as they scouted the dark, searching for something that may point towards me. Then they started advancing towards the forest, splitting up. The next instinct in my mind now was to play their game, of course. All I needed to do was follow them into the forest—my domain and territory—and there I would kill them one after the other. But then I remembered the casualties in my room. Not only were two men dead—two men whose colleagues had taken their bodies out just before me and most definitely cleared out the evidence of them ever being there. There were also the two ladies I was just having a good time with lying death in my room, both shot in the head. Why was it that anytime I decided to have a little bi

  • Loving the Cold-Hearted Alpha Lionel    Lionel is Attacked

LIONEL What harm could be in a little moment of sex, just a little time to enjoy myself and forgetting the shit of a wife I married? That was what I was experiencing now. I was Lionel Williams. I had my way with whatever I wanted. Imagine having two girls go head over heels to have this moment with me, and yet, there was a wife I had who dared to leave me sight and go out fucking another man. Fuck you, Regina! The good thing is there was something to put all that anger on now. As I cursed at Regina, I squeezed Lydia’s boobs and spanked Jemma’s butts. Both women were already sliding out of their dresses, both stark naked as they moaned and panted, struggling for who could kiss me first. I was still in my clothes even though Lydia’s hand slipped underneath my shirt and rubbed my breasts till it hardened. Jemma was faster. She instantly slid her palm over the bulge of my pants, struggling to grab my crotch as

REGINA After a good while, all we found was nothing but large mountains, a couple of trees sticking out around cooler areas and endless piles of dusty stones. “We can’t be sure we’re making any headway.” Ray stated now beneath one of the shades we found with trees around. “Neither can we be sure we’re safe, right?” I mentioned. Ray gave me an inquisitive glance. “You feel it could be dangerous finding the Mountain Men?” I shrugged. “Well, we can’t exactly tell what is going on yet, can we?” “So what is your plan B? What would happen if we found these Mountain Men and we couldn’t seem to find our way back?” “Lionel would definitely come to look for us.” I replied. Ray seemed panicked. “Look, I need us to get this straight. You said Lionel would not be here to find us.” “Yes, that’s if, of course, I make it back in a day plus and not more than that

  • Loving the Cold-Hearted Alpha Lionel    The Journey Begins

REGINA “Such is life. I need help here, Ray, and from your knowledge, only you can help me in this desperate time.” I convinced him further. He nodded now, apparently more energized and ready for the trip. “Alright, are we going to walk there or take a vehicle?” “I don’t want us drawing attention. It’s a tourist center so eyes could be on us. I think we should walk the way.” Ray made a face but shrugged nevertheless. “Alright, we move then.” He replied. I headed for the door slowly and hesitated when I felt his arm on my shoulder. “Regina, are you sure about this?” He asked. I smiled. “Believe me, no sane person wants to embark on this journey. If it wasn’t that important, I wouldn’t be doing this.” He nodded. “Then let’s do what had to be done.’ I left the room, happy to have met someone as helpful and supportive as Ray. As we made our way out of the room, I locke

REGINA “Don’t worry, Ray. There’s nothing you should worry about.” “Regina, your husband was a werewolf and you didn’t even, at least, warn me that he was something of such, not to talk about even telling me about this. In all, I should have just stayed away from you!” “To hell with that, Ray!” I shot back. “Whatever Lionel is cannot stop me from living my life the way I want!” He shook his head. “Regina… Regina… You’re not listening. Your so-called husband could have killed me. That easy, Regina!” “He wouldn’t hurt you. He could threaten you but he wouldn’t hurt you.” “What is wrong with you? I mean, you sound so sure of something so abnormal.” I shrugged. “What can I say? He’s my husband.” Ray suddenly paused and I could see a new curiosity on his face. It was like he had read another new discovery in my words. “Regina… if you could marry the werewolf. Are you al

  • Loving the Cold-Hearted Alpha Lionel    What Happened With Regina

REGINA I was alive, I was safe, and I was just wondering whether Lionel was even thinking about me. It began with the night of the accident when the car had slid down the hill and Lionel had come just in time to rescue me. That same night, I had struck a new deal with him and saved myself from having to be blackmailed each time I set my eyes upon him—I was not going to bother Grandpa with news of the accident and he was not going to ever bring it up as me being indebted to him. It had gone perfectly well with him in his room, and at this point, all I wanted to do was return to my room and allow myself to fall deeply asleep. It was just after I had a shower that I got a knock. The first idea I had was that Lionel was back again with something to rule out my little threat against him. On the contrary, it was my good new friend. It was Ray. “Hey, Ray.” I made to shake him as I extended my hand to him. He shrugg

LIONEL The suspense was killing me. I couldn’t get my mind wrapped around what Regina could have been doing to not be present in neither the hotel nor the bus. Had she gone back? No, she hadn’t. If she had, at least the girls would have seen her. They sounded honest enough. They had not set eyes on neither the woman nor Ray. Ray! The name sent pangs of anger firing through my head. What had they both been up to? Now, this was beginning to look scary. After all, she just met the guy. What if Ray had done something terrible to Regina? What if Ray had... You need to remain calm. I heard Lucius instruct from within me. Regina could be in trouble. I replied within my thoughts. No, Lionel. Look at it more clearly. After all, Regina never loved you, and she knew very well that you didn’t love her. This could just be her plot to make you panic. Lucius re

  • Loving the Cold-Hearted Alpha Lionel    The Trip Without Regina

LIONEL I joined the bus as I met the driver. “Hey, good morning.” The driver greeted me in the most absurdly friendly manner ever. “Good morning,” I replied. “Looks like you’d be joining us today.” He mentioned. I got into the bus now and took my usual position at the back. There were new faces of tourists in the new bus. In fact, I recognized none. And Regina was not present. Neither was Ray. Where the fuck were they? “Yes, I’d be joining you.” I replied. “That means your wife’s all good?” I scanned again for Regina. She truly wasn’t in the goddamned bus. “Yeah.” I replied. “Wait, she’s not here yet. I assume she’s yet to come.” “I guess she’s joined another rider.” “Another rider?” “Yeah, there was a bus that came earlier for tourists that wanted to start their journey much earlier today.” He repl
