A little more time and Mica arrived. Octavia felt happy and relieved because that was the closest person she knew.
They went into the room together and both got dressed for the party because the other members of the clan were already leaving.
"Do you think it's possible to....excuse myself from the party?" Octavia asked as Mica applied a little make up on her.
"And why would you want to stay back, Octavia? Besides, I don't think it's a good idea since Becca's already given orders for you to be there". Mica replied and Octavia swallowed hard and didn't say a word
"You guys seem to party a lot over here" sh said after a while.
"Well...yeah" Mica shurgged. "That's one popular characteristics of the X-family. We party a lot - almost everyday. It's the only thing that brings the different clans together"
Octavia nodded and allowed another silence to descend.
