“Let’s go!
Rion used a bit of force to lead her out of the room. It made Odette feel confused. The man also looked scared, but who was he afraid of? In the room, there was only her and Fivi. Was Rion afraid of Fivi?
Odette’s eyebrows furrowed seeing Rion wearing armor. The man looked like he was going to the battlefield.
What was really going on?
She wondered in her mind. Was there an enemy that suddenly attacked the kingdom, and Rion would go to resolve it?
However, her brain told her that her guess was wrong.
While Odette was still confused, Fivi laughed.
“You’re overreacting,” she said, looking at the armor Rion was wearing.
Rion didn’t respond and tried to pull Odette away from that place.
“Hei hei hei, why are you so rude?” Fivi stood up,
The two people were now sitting side by side. Rion invited Odette to sit down to solve the problem. He really couldn’t stand the current situation. He was tired of staying up late.Rion removed his armor and placed it on the table. He then turned to look at Odette, but he didn’t say anything.“If you want to talk, say it quickly. I’m busy,” Odette said as she looked away, avoiding eye contact with Rion.“Please don’t be mad anymore,” Rion said after letting out an exhausted sigh. The sigh sounded very desperate. His words sounded sincere, making Odette slowly turn her head and look at the face of the man in front of him. He looked very lethargic, with dry skin and dark circles in both eyes.It looked like Odette had gone too far. She knew that she shouldn’t be upset about that, but she couldn’t control her emotions.
While they were both busy, Aathreya came over, planning to take Narine back to Randle Mountain.“Right now?” Narine somewhat objected. Staying in the palace felt like being at home because of the many cakes.Aathreya nodded slowly while Anwen looked at Aathreya. She remembered that Aathreya was Odette’s grandfather.“So, you already know about Alice’s identity, huh?”Hearing this, Anwen’s eyes opened wider, showing a thin line of surprise.“I told her about it.” Cristela came from behind, while Erina and the maids who used to follow her watched from afar.Aathreya glanced at her. “People won’t think you’re mute if you’re quiet.”Cristela smiled sarcastically. “So, you want to go back to the mountain? Why not stay here? It’s more comfortable her
Narine looked down dejectedly, remembering that Aathreya was currently sick.“What’s wrong with him?” Anwen asked curiously.“Nothing,” Narine said quietly. She couldn’t tell Anwen that Aathreya was currently sick because of opening the space and time portal. Aathreya had asked her not to tell it to anyone. So, she told Anwen that this was the first time she was separated from Aathreya. That was why she felt uneasy.“Don’t worry! I am here, I will accompany you and not let you be lonely until Aathreya comes back!” Anwen said excitedly then put on a broad smile.Narine just looked at Anwen.“He said he would come in a few days, right? So just wait,” Anwen added. This time Narine nodded with a faint smile on her face. Yes, nothing to worry about. Right now, Aathreya might be
Narine was looking at Rion, but soon she looked down again. She didn’t have the courage to scream to the king like she often did to Aathreya every time she was upset.“If you don’t want to, I won’t force you,” Rion said flatly.Narine pouted her lips and said quietly while lowering her gaze. “The crystal is not yours, but Odette’s, and Odette has lent it to us.”Rion put on a flat expression on his face when he heard that. The little creature’s words seemed to flick his forehead. The thing that Narine wanted to say was ‘you are claiming other people’s thing as your thing by using it to take advantage of other people. No shame!’The owner and the pet were both annoying.“Anwen, take her out,” Rion said flatly. He didn’t want to let go of the opportunity to seek information from Narine.
Narine flew out of Anwen’s pocket. She looked at the big rock that Aathreya often sat on to meditate, but the wizard was nowhere to be seen right now. Meanwhile, Anwen noticed the crystal shards around her feet. She bent down and picked up one. Then, she studied it closely.“Hei, Narine, look at this,” she said.Narine immediately turned around, following Anwen’s words. She was shocked to see the thing in the human girl’s hand. “This is…. The Crystal shard.”“Does it belong to Aathreya?”Narine was silent. She didn’t know, but it seemed so. Her feelings were getting worse. Her premonition told her that something bad happened to Aathreya. Meanwhile, Anwen guessed that the reason it took them so long to get to the mountain was because Aathreya’s crystal broke. She ran after seeing Narine’s expression. The fairy looked very a
Rion sighed. “I just don’t like the old woman’s pushy attitude.”Trish smiled, knowing precisely what Rion was thinking. “You want Anwen to live as she wants and to live a happy life. You don’t want to get Anwen into trouble with the government that puts her under pressure, right?”“Don’t be a smartass,” Rion said and Trish laughed.“You are a very considerate brother," Trish commented.“Speaking of Aiden….”“I’m ninety-five percent sure that King Arawn didn’t know Aiden was still alive, and they didn’t cooperate with each other. They are enemies, but they are on different sides, and it is possible for them to join forces, so we must always keep an eye on them. I have a strong feeling that Aiden is still alive.”Rion massaged his forehead for a w
Odette turned and smiled again when she noticed the worry on the man’s face. “No. Even though I really miss my previous world, I don’t want to go home. You know why?”“Why?”“Because you are not there.”Hearing those words, Rion’s smile reappeared, and his sad face suddenly brightened.“I just want to stay where you live,” she said, making Rion’s heart feel warm and happy.“Thank you.” Rion returned the hug and stroked the girl’s hair lovingly. They didn’t say anything for a while and enjoyed the serenity and warmth that flowed before Rion finally let go of his embrace and stared intently at Odette.“Odette.”“Hm?”“This place might not be as safe as where you were before.&
Narine released all the herbs that were wrapped around Anwen’s body and Trish watched closely.“Let’s go!” Anwen asked. Trish nodded but suddenly fell silent as she stared at the crystal in her hand.“What is it?” Anwen asked.“Do you have any teleportation crystals in your room? All the king’s crystals are here.”“Then, we’ll teleport there.”“What about your crystal?”“The king lost it.”Before the girl asked why and how, Trish quickly grabbed Anwen’s hand and then focused his mind on Anwen’s room.“Take us there,” he said, and they disappeared from the mountain. Instantly, they appeared on the table in Anwen’s room, but Trish accidentally stepped on the edge of the table and the table flippe
