We all were seated at the table waiting on Marlie to bring the tray of lasagna. The aroma was pungent and wafted through the entire house.

♧ Ryn's pov ♧We all laughed at Nate's question including Ace. The next thirty minutes were filled with laughter and having Nate tease Marlie and Paul's relationship. While I avoided every possible question about Ace and I's relationship that Marlie seemed to be asking one after the other. I was praying that the dinner would be finished early and when it finally did I was internally rejoicing.
♧ Ryn's pov ♧We jumped apart clearly embarrassed at being caught in this position. I looked at Marlie and noticed she wasn't at all mad about what she had witnessed, if anything a smirk was plastered on her lips, letting me know how much she had liked seeing us this way.
