Chapter 11

Felicity's POV

After arriving at Damon's apartment, I immediately went to the room and changed my clothes. 

I am now wearing a black loose shirt,  and a dolphin shorts. 

" I already put the grocery on the table, I'll just go there after changing my clothes." He informed me, when we crossed our path at the stair.

" Okay " 

I prepared all the ingredients, and perform mise en place. Then, I started to cut the ingredients to be used.

" Why are you crying?" Damon hugged my back, and placed his hands on my stomach.

" I always cry when I cut onions " I replied.

" How can I help you then? " He said as he let go of his hug to me, and stand beside me. 

He's wearing a plain white t-shirt and a boxer. 

" Nothing. I can do this by myself, just sit back, and relax. " 

" Okay, I'll just ask you a questions then, while you're cooking" he suggested

 I am now preparing for the carbonara sauce. Damon sits on the high chair, and gazes at me.

" What can you say, about what happened between us in the office earlier? " he started to ask. 

I looked at him, to see if he takes his question seriously. And I just confirmed it, when I saw his serious face looking intently at me and waiting for my answer.

" No comment for that " I said avoiding the topic.

" Okay.. Next question. How would you feel if you found out that I am cheating on you, or that I have another girl?" 

Of course, I'll be angry at him. But I realized, why would I? I mean we're not really a couple, we're just pretending to be. And that's the truth. But since, I am his girlfriend now. I think I have the rights. 

" Hmm. Obviously, I'll be angry at you. I will definitely punch your fucking face for cheating on me, and...probably cut your dick if I can" 

He just lightly laugh at me, and I just shook my head as I get a plate for us, after I finished everything. 

" Let's eat first " 

He gave me a thumbs up, when he tasted the food. I only smile at him and raise my brows, telling him that I really am  good at cooking.

" Who's that Theo?" I suddenly asked, when I remember that man in his office.

He looked at me amusingly. 

" He has a girlfriend." His answer is far from my question!"

That's not even the answer to my question Damon. Anyway, I don't like that guy, and I think he's spitting nonsense. " 

" He's my childhood friend. Don't mind him, he is just always like that and a naughty person." 

I nodded at him, and just continue eating carbonara. When a question suddenly popped in my mind, I looked at him, and I saw he's eating seriously.  I can't contain my curiosity, so I've left with no choice.

" Where's your family by the way? I mean your mom and dad?" I asked out of curiosity.

Damon knew a lot of personal information about me, so I think it just right to ask about his too. 

" My mother is in Paris, and my Dad is in Florida. They are a product of arranged marriage, so I understand why they had to divorce. " he stated.

" I'm sorry to hear that."

" It's okay, you really can't force people to stay and stick together, if they don't love each other anymore. If my parents did stay, they will just inflict pain on each other" 

" I was only nineteen years old, when they divorced. And as the only heir of the family, I became the CEO at the very young age. My mother left me, the same thing my father did. So, I became independent, and started to live alone. And trying hard to manage my company. My life was never been easy on my teenage years, maybe the  "

I wiped the corner of my lips with tissue, and drink a glass of champagne. Damon's done eating too. 

" You said that your parents was a product arranged marriage, what if they'll do the same thing to you. Arranged marriage for business sakes perhaps?" I leaned more closer to the table and placed my hands on the corner of the table, as I am getting more curious of his answer. 

" They can't force me whom I'm gonna marry me. I will marry someone because of love, and not for fucking business sake." 

I chuckled at his answer.  I'd  never thought that he thinks this way. 

" What are you laughing at?" he countered at me. His lips is in a grim line now, and his brows furrowed, as he looked at me. 

" I can't believe you! You are Damon McCartny Becket. The ruthless CEO in a well-known company, and you tell me that you will marry for love? Businessman like you, don't believe in that thing called 'love' Are you kidding me? " I mockingly said, and shook my head for disbelief. 

He tapped the table lightly using his fingers. He looked at me patiently, he licked his lips before saying. 

" You judged me so bad sweetie. And, sorry to pop your perception on me. But I really believe in love. Just wait 'til you witnessed me marrying the one I love " 

" Yeah, whatever. And besides, I believe that would take more time, to marry the one you loved. Because, how can you find the right girl for you, if you're sticking with me as your boyfriend." I said matter as a matter or fact. 

What I said was true, Damon can't easily find the right girl for her. Not when we're together and I'm her girlfriend. No girls wanted to have a relationship of someone who have a girlfriend. 

" That's the point, I'm dating you. And there's a big possibility, that we're getting married." 

My eyes widened because of his unexpected logic. 

" You don't love me, so it's still a no " I calmly said, even when my heart beats fast, like it's about to explode in my rib cage.

" Why are you thinking that I won't fall for you anytime soon?" He coldly said, and his words sent shivers down my spine. 

" Huh! You won't fall for me Damon. I knew it because I don't fit your standards for your girls." I scoffed and looked away from his hypnotizing eyes.

" Let's see. Time passes and you begin to see me, slowly falling in love with you." 

What the fucking fuck! 

" Mark my words, in every way I will make you fall in love with me, Felicity." 

After our dinner, we remained silent. I don't fucking know what to say to Damon. It's not as if, his asking me a question. He fucking declared it, and I'm speechless. 

We are now, laying in our bed. Both staring at the ceiling. with the defeaning silence. 

I can see in my peripheral vision, that Damon moved closer to me, the comforter was pulled a bit from my body. I am holding my breath from my unexplainable feeling.

A sudden warm hugged embraced me, his hands wrapping on my stomach, and his legs intertwined with mine.

He positioned his face on my neck, and I can feel his hot breath on my skin. 

I stiffened. I can feel a butterflies in my stomach. Damon is cuddling with me! 

" I needed someone like you. I hope you'll give me my chance Felicity. I'm serious. Fuck the contract! I want us to be together for real." he whispered.

The hell! He wants us for real? I think it's all too fast, I mean we just meet and get to know each other for a short period of time.But, damn it! Damon is fucking serious.

I admit that he's a good catch. Damon is handsome, and I just found out, that he is not a bad person, I think he is. My heart beats frantically and wildly for him. 

As days passed by, I found myself having a feelings for him. It's my first time to feel this way, and I'm afraid of the possible uncertainties. How ironic.

"  Please sweetie, let's be for real. I promise I will shower you the love and care that you deserve the most. I will give you my world." He begged as he slowly caressed my hair. 

I closed my eyes and feel his light touch. I am afraid, but I don't want to regret anything. It's now or never, and for now, I wanted to choose what my heart screamed the most. 

" Damon, I like you." I confessed to him. Which made his body stiffined.

He looked straight at my eyes, and  I can see love and gentleness in it, and with the reflection of the yellow light from the lamp.

I've got to see his handsome and dark face. 

Damon tilted my chin up and kissed me. This time, his kiss is soft and gentle. I parted my lips to welcome his. 

A soft moaned escape from me, the pleasure started to lit up from my body. Like a wildfire that cannot be stooped from spreading into my system.

I'd never thought I wanted to be lost. This is the exact moment of my life that I choose to be lost, if it's with Damon McCartny Becket.
