I froze. How the hell did he know my name?

I growled, my eyes flashing with hellfire. "How the hell do you know who I am?"

Sebastian's lips curled into a smirk, revealing the tips of his fangs. "Oh, sweetheart. Everyone knows the name of Lucifer's heir and who she is."

My hand shot out, gripping his throat. The silver blade in my other hand pressed against his jugular. "Bullshit," I hissed. "I've kept a low profile."

He didn't even flinch, just raised an eyebrow. "Have you now? The assassin princess, leaving a trail of dead demons in her wake? You're not exactly subtle, darling."

"Who sent you?" I demanded, tightening my grip.

Sebastian's eyes danced with amusement. "No one sent me. I came of my own accord. You're... intriguing."

I snorted. "Right. And I'm the Virgin Mary."

"Your reputation precedes you," he purred, somehow managing to sound seductive even with a blade at his throat. "I wanted to see if the rumours were true."

I narrowed my eyes, searching his face for any sign of dec

I closed my eyes, trying to catch Azazel's scent, but there was nothing. Just the lingering smell of sulphur and something... off. Something I couldn't quite place. "Dammit!" I slammed my fist into the wall, leaving a small crater. Sebastian approached cautiously. "We'll find him," he said, his voice low and determined. I laughed bitterly. "We? There is no 'we,' Count Chocula." "Fuck," I muttered again, running a hand through my hair. "I need a drink." I stormed out of the basement, taking the stairs two at a time. Sebastian's footsteps echoed behind me, but I didn't slow down. My mind raced, trying to figure out where Azazel might have gone. "Luella, wait," Sebastian called out as we reached the main floor. I spun around, eyes blazing. "Wait for what? Every second we waste, that slimy bastard gets further away." Sebastian held up his hands placatingly. "I understand, but we need a plan. You can't just…" "Watch me," I snarled, cutting him off. I closed my eyes, focusing on t

I smirked, already planning my next move. The abandoned district was a maze of crumbling buildings and forgotten alleys. Perfect for a rat like Azazel to hide."Time to go hunting," I muttered, striding towards the exit. The crowd parted once more, and I felt a surge of anticipation. This game of cat and mouse was about to get interesting. I stalked through the winding streets of Eclipse City, my senses on high alert. The scent of decay and forgotten magic hung heavy in the air, but there was no trace of Azazel's distinct sulfuric stench. Damn it.My frustration built with each empty alley and abandoned building. I was about to pyroport to a different section of the district when a familiar, intoxicating aroma hit me. Vampire."Fuck me," I growled, whirling around to find Sebastian leaning casually against a crumbling brick wall."Is that an invitation, little Morningstar?" he purred, his dark eyes glimmering with amusement.I rolled my eyes, fighting the unwelcome surge of attractio

"Hey, Daddy dearest. What's shaking in the pits of Hell?""Lulu, my little hellspawn!" Dad's voice boomed through the speaker. "How's the hunt going? Caught our slippery friend yet?"I shot Sebastian a warning glare as I replied, "Still on the trail. He's as much of a slimy shithead as ever."Dad's laughter echoed, rich and dark. "That's my girl. Always did have a way with words."I chewed my lip, debating whether to bring up the vampire situation. Fuck it. "So, quick question. Did you know the vamps want a piece of Azazel too?"There was a pause. "No," Dad said slowly. "That's... interesting. Why?"I eyed Sebastian, who was listening intently. "Apparently, our boy's been dabbling in some vampire blood trade. Selling it on the black market.""Well, well," Dad mused. "Looks like our little traitor's been busier than we thought. This complicates things.""Yeah, no shit," I muttered, running a hand through my hair. "I’ll let you deal with the council."Dad chuckled. "You give me the best

Sebastian's eyes lit up with interest. "Hellfire whiskey? Now that sounds intriguing." He sauntered over to the liquor cabinet, his movements fluid and graceful. "Care to join me for a drink, darling?"I snorted, heading for the mini-fridge I kept stocked with snacks. "In your dreams, Cullen. Some of us actually need food to function.""Cullen?" Sebastian chuckled, pouring himself a generous glass of the glowing amber liquid. "I'm wounded. I'd like to think I have a bit more charisma than that sparkly excuse for a vampire.""Whatever you say, Edward," I shot back, rummaging through the fridge. I emerged victorious with leftover pizza. Cold, but it would do. "Just keep your brooding to a minimum, yeah? We've got work to do."As I took a big bite of pizza, I couldn't help but watch Sebastian out of the corner of my eye. He brought the glass to his lips, inhaling deeply before taking a sip. His eyes widened in surprise and appreciation."This is... exquisite, and fuck it’s strong," he mu

Sebastian leaned forward, his eyes gleaming with interest. "I'm curious about our approach once we're inside. How do you propose we locate Azazel without tipping him off?"I poured myself another glass of hellfire whiskey, the amber liquid swirling through the air at my mental command. As the glass filled, I noticed Sebastian eyeing it longingly.Poor bastard. Guess even centuries-old vampires could feel left out. With a flick of my wrist, I conjured a bottle of top-shelf whiskey - the mortal kind - right in front of him. "There. Knock yourself out, but not literally."His eyes widened in surprise, then crinkled with amusement. "My, aren't we full of surprises? Thank you, darling."I rolled my eyes at the endearment, but couldn't quite suppress a smirk. "Don't get used to it, Dracula. Now, about finding our slippery friend..."As I laid out the finer points of my strategy, I couldn't help but notice how intently Sebastian listened. His sharp mind picked up on details I'd barely consid

Sebastian's lips curved into a pout, his dark eyes gleaming with mischief. "That's not very nice, Luella," he said, his voice a low purr that sent shivers down my spine.I stared at his perfect face, my emotions warring within me. Part of me wanted to punch that pout right off his stupidly handsome mug. The other part... Well, it had some very different ideas about how to wipe that expression away."Who said I was nice?" I retorted, trying to ignore the way my heart raced. "I'm the heir to Hell, remember? We don't do 'nice'."Sebastian's thumb traced lazy circles on my ankle, still trapped in his grasp. "Oh, I don't know about that," he murmured. "I think you could be very nice if you wanted to be."I yanked my foot away, ignoring the loss I felt as his touch disappeared. "In your dreams, bloodsucker.""Oh, trust me," he said with a wink, "you already are."I rolled my eyes, but I couldn't quite suppress the heat rising to my cheeks. Damn him and his stupid charm. Without waiting for an answer, I closed my eyes and channelled my power once more. This time, I didn't just project images - I sent phantom sensations coursing through Sebastian's body.He gasped, his eyes widening in shock and pleasure. "Luella, I can... I can feel everything.""That's the idea, Cullen," I whispered, nipping at his earlobe. In his mind, I was straddling him, my hips rolling against his in a maddening rhythm. My hands explored every inch of his chest, my nails raking down his abs. I bit his lower lip in response, drawing a low groan from him."Luella," he breathed against my lips, his voice rough with desire. "You're intoxicating."I chuckled breathlessly. "Careful there, vampire. I might start to think you actually like me."He pulled back slightly, his eyes boring into mine. "And if I do?"The intensity in his gaze caught me off guard. I woke to the sensation of Sebastian's cool skin against mine, our limbs tangled like vines. Memories of our night flooded back, sending a delicious shiver through me. I traced a finger along his jaw, marveling at how peaceful he looked in sleep."Rise and shine, vampire boy," I whispered, planting a kiss on his forehead. "Time to face the music."Sebastian's eyes fluttered open, a mix of adoration and apprehension in their dark depths. "Good morning, my love. I suppose we can't hide in here forever?"I snorted. "Not unless you want dear dad to come drag us out himself."We dressed quickly, stealing glances and touches as we went. I opted for a blood-red silk blouse and leather pants – might as well look the part of Hell's princess. Sebastian chose a crisp black shirt and slacks, ever the picture of vampiric elegance. The walk to the dining room felt like a march to the gallows. I could practically feel Sebastian's anxiety radiating off him in waves. "Relax," I muttered, squeezing hi

"Holy shit," I managed to gasp out, staring at the ceiling. "That was... fuck."Sebastian chuckled, a low, satisfied sound. "Eloquent as always, my dear."I turned my head to glare at him, but couldn't muster any real heat behind it. "Shut up. You fucked my brains out. I'm allowed to be incoherent."He propped himself up on an elbow, looking down at me with a smirk. "Is that a complaint I'm hearing?""Definitely not," I said, stretching languidly. My body felt like jelly in the best possible way. "Though I might need a minute before round two."Sebastian's eyes darkened. "Oh, I think I can find ways to occupy that pretty mouth of yours while you recover."I felt a fresh wave of heat rush through me. Damn him and his sexy… everything. "Is that a challenge, Nightshade?"He grinned, fangs glinting in the low light. "What do you think?"I smirked back, already reaching for him. Heat pooled low in my belly at his words. Part of me wanted to sass back, to push his buttons further. But a larger part just wanted him inside me already."Less threats, more action," I growled. Sebastian's hand tangled in my hair, yanking my head back. "As you wish, princess."His hips rocked forward, teasing me with the promise of what was to come. I bit back a whimper, not wanting to give him the satisfaction. But as he slowly pushed inside me, stretching and filling me completely, I couldn't hold back my moan of pleasure. Fuck, he felt amazing."That's it," Sebastian murmured against my neck. "Let me hear you, Luella."I clenched around him in response, relishing his sharp intake of breath. Two could play this game.Sebastian's thrusts were maddeningly slow, each one deliberate and precise. I couldn't take it anymore. The tension between us was electric, crackling in the air like hellfire. I stood up abruptly, my hands still bound behind my back, and locked eyes with Sebastian."Maybe," I said, my voice husky with desire, "just maybe, I want you to punish me."Sebastian's eyes darkened, a predatory grin spreading across his face. "Is that so?" he purred, circling me slowly. "And what makes you think you deserve my attention, little demon?"I lifted my chin defiantly. "Because I'm the best damn thing that's ever happened to you, vampire."He chuckled, low and dangerous. "Such arrogance. I think we need to work on that."My heart raced as he approached, his fingers trailing along my collarbone. I wanted to touch him, to pull him close, but the bindings held firm. Frustration and arousal warred within me."What are you waiting for?" I taunted, my voice barely above a whisper. I nipped at his palm, then smirked against his skin."Is that a threat or a promise, Nightshade?" I challenged, my voice muffled but defiant.I felt him stiffen behind me, his breath catching. For a moment, I wondered if I'd pushed too far. Then his grip tightened, and he spun me around to face him."You just can't help yourself, can you?" he growled, and I could hear the smile in his voice. "Always have to have the last word.""W

As we made our way outside, I explained the game to Sebastian. "It's simple," I said, my voice dripping with excitement. "Dad and I take turns creating massive objects, then we obliterate them. Hellfire, grenades, whatever works. It's like the world's most badass sculpture garden, but with more explosions."Sebastian's eyes widened, a mix of awe and apprehension flickering across his face. "And... this is how you usually spend family time?"I laughed, the sound echoing through the cavernous halls of the castle. "Welcome to the family, babe. We don't do boring." As we stepped outside, the heat of the Underworld hit me like a familiar embrace. The air shimmered with sulfurous haze, and the distant roar of lava falls provided a fitting backdrop for our destructive game.Dad wasted no time, his hands moving in fluid motions as he conjured a mountain of hellfire grenades and other explosive delights. The pile glowed an ominous red, crackling with barely contained energy."Show off," I mut

I rolled my eyes, but couldn't help smiling. "Yeah, yeah. Just don't tell him about the time I accidentally turned all the hellhounds into puppies."Dad's eyes glinted mischievously. "Now that's a story worth telling..." I quickly cut in before Dad could embarrass me further. "Actually, you know what? Let's skip the hellhound incident. Sebastian, want to hear about something way more fun?"Sebastian leaned forward, his dark eyes glimmering with curiosity. "Always.""Well, one of my favorite pastimes when I started working with Dad was hellfire darts." I grinned, remembering the countless hours we'd spent honing our skills.Sebastian's brow furrowed. "Hellfire... darts?"Before I could explain, Dad snapped his fingers. A shimmering dartboard materialized on the far wall, crackling with infernal energy. In his other hand, three sets of darts appeared, their tips glowing white-hot."No time like the present for a demonstration," Dad said, tossing a set to me and another to Sebastian.I

Sebastian leaned forward, his dark eyes glinting with curiosity. "So what other mischief has our princess been up to over the centuries?"Dad's grin widened, and I knew I was in for it. "Oh, where to begin? There was the time she accidentally unleashed a plague of locusts in Egypt..."I groaned, burying my face in my hands. "Dad, come on..."But he was already off and running. "Picture this: Little Lu, barely a century old, decides she wants to impress her old man by conjuring up some insects. Harmless enough, right? Except she overshot it. By about a billion locusts."Sebastian's eyebrows shot up. "You're kidding."I peeked through my fingers. "In my defense, I was aiming for butterflies. How was I supposed to know locusts were easier to summon in bulk?"Dad chuckled. "The Egyptians weren't too pleased, I'll tell you that. Took weeks to clean up that mess."I couldn't help but smirk. "Hey, at least I gave them something to write about. You're welcome."Sebastian shook his head, a mi

As I watched Sebastian process this information, I couldn't help but feel a twinge of... something. Pride? Excitement? Maybe a bit of both. Here he was, my vampire boyfriend, diving headfirst into the intricacies of Hell like it was the most natural thing in the world.I leaned in close, my lips brushing his ear. "Don't worry, babe," I whispered. "I'll keep you safe."Sebastian's dark eyes met mine, a mix of curiosity and apprehension swirling in their depths. "And what about tomorrow?" he asked, his voice low and smooth. "The troublemakers you'll be sentencing?"I couldn't help but smirk. "Oh, those are the fun ones," I said, leaning back in my chair. The velvet cushion was soft against my skin, a stark contrast to the hard justice we'd be doling out tomorrow. "They're usually demons who've stepped out of line. Either from the outer regions or just inside the Styx."I took a sip of my wine, savoring the rich, smoky flavor. "We drag their sorry asses before us and decide their fate ba
