Sometimes all you need is the feeling of loss to realize your real feelings. So feel the loss and Realize your feelings."
*******
It must have been about 9 in the evening. Walking through the whitewashed corridors Riley notices some of the nurses in hurry to tend to their patients. She turned around a corner and nearly was going to collide into the wheelchair of a kid. She apologized and noticed the kid was deathly pale and bald. Despite being in a wheelchair, he gave her a sweet smile and muttered It is okay before moving on. The person behind the kid nodded at her and advised them to be careful, she must be his mother. Another sign with room numbers mentioned turning right into a white-tiled corridor. Stopping midway she realized she had walked away from the main room. She turns around and walks backward.

"The beginning of love is the realization of the pain of your beloved." [Christian] The doctor looked at Riley. "Although there is no injury in his head, he might be having a concussion for some internal fall. Hopefully he will remember it after a few days. It's strange though, I have not seen a patient who lost his memory and had no signs of any head injury." Riley was frustrated by the doctor's words. She didn't know what he was even doing, comforting her and then taking it all back by saying how strange it was. Frustrated, she asked him a few questions and he patiently answered her. "Don't worry. He will be fine." The doctor said in reassurance, patting her shoulder. Even though she didn't
Listening to his voice gave Christian a headache. The man was a pain in the ass. He knew she was married and even then he was trying to covet her. The anger coursed through his veins. The hands clutching the phone became tighter and tighter. While on the other side, Stuart shouted, again and again, the address of Starbucks which was the nearest one to the home they were living in. He did have a lot to ask of. But if Riley knew, he wanted to meet her in the middle of the night. 'Will she go?' 'She wouldn't go there at this time right?' He was hesitant to ask if she would or if she wouldn't. 'Stop daydreaming, he is her childhood sweet
"Love because that phase will be over soon."[Christian] The cold weather hit Riley's skin and she shivered from the inside out. But what was surprising was she didn't shiver alone, the hand that was engulfing hers also shivered. The twigs outside we're shining and swaying in the wind after being washed by the rain. Her eyes met his and Christian gave her a silly smile. From what she observed, he looked like a man crazily in love with her. He lifted the coat in his arms and draped it on her shoulders. His eyes fixed on trying to button it for her even though his fingers were trembling from the cold. "Honey, you need it more than me," Riley said, hurling her thoughts in the back of her mind. Christian only looked down at her eyes, and her breath was caught in her throat. His chocolate brown gaze had captured hers, and now there was no escaping.
"Some souls stay true to their love forever."[Christian] Stuart although liked women he never understood them, all the women he had been surrounded with were just constructs of uniqueness yet remained the same in some of their responses. He left Starbucks only when the clock struck 11:30 in the morning. She never came as if she didn't even hear his voice. He felt dejected, sad, and angry. Stuart had not expected it. He knew he had hurt her in ways more than she could explain but he never knew her hurt was so dreadful that she even refused to see him. There were tears, an hour long. Christian was really worried about his facial injuries incident this time. His driver had pulled up his car when he saw his assistant in the street arguing with a man and she looked mad in her appearance. Her small body was shaking with anger, like a person who was st
"O Heart, change my love for someone." [Stuart] ******* Riley's eyes flickered left and right, her gaze settling on the woman in the middle and her eyes dilated. She was wearing a creamy yellow dress suiting her slender body perfectly but not too revealing. Her hands and shoulders were covered in balloon sleeves revealing a pair of white wrists which were in contradiction with the latest fashion yet she still managed to look hot. there was a tiny silver necklace of heart shape enveloping her long neck; one that Riley gifted her years ago. She still keeps it so close to her. Her shoulder-length blonde hair down, as a few hairs bounced to the other side carried by the wind. As if sensing her gaze, she pushed th
"Past affects Future; it extinguishes several opportunities just because you are afraid of your past repetition." [Lisa] ******* After gathering herself, Lisa spoke. "Wow. I thought I am going to be the one who will surprise you." She paused, looking distant. "You surprised me. Well, you always do. But honestly, I never saw that coming." Hearing this Riley's face was like being clouded with dark clouds. Her expression looked bitter, her eyes remorseful. "I never wanted my wedding like that too babe. You know me better than I know myself. I just didn't get the time to do anything before I was married." Lisa pondered over her words. Yet she was mad. She had so many dreams to fulfill at her wedding. Fury flooded her mind and reason left her for a second. As she banged hard on the table drawing people's attention towards
"Trust is conditional, So analyze the intention, and forgive people for their intention." [Ifveen] ******* "So? Why are we here?" Riley said standing outside the mall looking up at Christian? "I want to make sure this evening is well spent." It was the first time, Christian was not lying to Riley, and his intention, as well as the subtext, was clear. 'We are going on a date.' They stood there, the two of them. Since leaving the hospital, he has been feeling odd. He has felt joy but with a tinge of distress. He has felt alive and numb. He had spent two days with Jacqueline all mushy and found his fears. He had hugged her in sleep, tighter than usual. He had spent an hour face-timing with his
"Reminding myself from time to time, to stick to the plan."[Christian] ******* Riley had not expected his sister to be so calm, classy, and sophisticated. She was almost like Mindy. Lovable and touchy. "This is the first time I am meeting you, Riley, so I don't know if you will like it, but it's my intention so please accept it." She didn't know what to do. Should she accept it? Or should she not. Maybe accepting was safer. But before she could Mindy stepped beside her and accepted it on her behalf. "Emma, you are not supposed to force her to accept your gifts. Let her get comfortable beside you. Did you forget what I told you? The woman sat down, her face dr
Christian's eyes widened in shock, his cut cheek throbbing with every heartbeat. The gash in his thigh, a souvenir from Andy's goons' earlier attack, stung as he spoke."Andy, how could you?" Christian's voice reverberated off the concrete walls.Andy's laughter sent chills down Christian's spine, amplified by the eerie silence."You never suspected, did you?" Andy's words dripped with malice.Christian's torn shirt hung in tatters, revealing bruises and scrapes. A glass shard protruded from his thigh, blood pooling around it.The only light came from a flickering overhead bulb, casting ominous shadows on the walls. Cobwebs clung to the steel beams, and dusty crates lined the perimeter. The air reeked of decay and neglect.Christian struggled to comprehend. "We were friends, brothers. Why?"Andy's expression twisted, his eyes gleaming with malevolence. "Because your Father destroyed my father. Because I hate you. I hate you to the core. I created the perfect lie, Christian. "The best decision to cater life is to accept whatever is happening. And move forward."[Christian]'I have most of the times preferred to decide emotionally, but most of the time it has backfired on me. So this time I will use my brain.' Christian thought inwardly, his hands were shaking. He took a deep breath to calm himself, and observed his surroundings. The place he was called to, looked like an abandoned building, on the outskirts of the city. There doesn't seem to be a single soul in the vicinity. "I am here." he yelled, and his words echoed in the area. Just when he thought there was no presence there. Around ten men surrounded him coming from all sides. One of them punched him in the jaw and he fell down on the ground with a groan. His eyes blackened for a few minutes before he could stand up, he was kicked by another guy in the gut. They hit him until he bled. Christian's shirt was torn, his cheek and head had a severe cut which was bleeding up to his eyes.Perhaps seeing h
Life is beautiful, live with people you love, who love you."[Riley Brown]Riley had never felt the kind of dread she was feeling in the darkness. Her body was shaking but even then she couldn't scream. When she woke up she found her arms and legs bound to a chair with a gag in her mouth. Other than that, she was unable to see anything. Wherever she was, it was too dark to even comprehend the surroundings of the room. Suddenly, the door opened with a creak, and light coming from outside blinded her for a few minutes. With that, it must have been more than 12 hours since she was kidnapped. Her heartbeat pounded in her ears as she wondered who the person would be. She quickly takes in her surroundings. The wall facing her chair was musty old and the paint was coming off. Dark-colored boxes were scattered on the floor. There were some posters on the wall, but she didn't linger on them. Instead, her gaze landed on the man who was now standing in front of her. She noticed he was wearing a
"Embrace your fear and be honest with people you want to live forever." [Christian Evercast]"Hie." This time Christian doesn't pretend to not see her. Instead, he walks toward her and forwards her hand for a handshake. Riley is not entirely aware of what exactly happened, stay still. She doesn't take his hand, so he takes it back awkwardly."I am not going back Christian," Riley says, pinching her arm in annoyance."So your trip here is pointless."Each time she had to remind herself of the fact that his pitiful appearance was just a sparse way to fool her. Like he did all the time."Please don't run away from me, Riley. I am not here to take you back. Not unless you go with me willingly." He says. His eyes were hollow."Yeah, like always. Willingness. Oh, you mean the conspiring ways that will force me to go with you willingly." Riley says sarcastically. Her face was like a dark cloud and her courage was like a queen's, but her tone was still normal, perhaps to not attract attention
"It's not the goodbyes that hurt,It's the love remaining in you that hurts!"[Christian]*******Riley felt Her chest heavy with a feeling of stress and confusion. She changed into her normal clothes and asked for leave from the manager present. The manager argued with her, but her friend Roma immediately came to her aid. She didn't ask Riley why she wanted to leave in such a hurry, she just offered to work in her place. The manager readily agreed and Riley walked outside. When Riley finally left the restaurant, she could’ve sworn Christian looked right at her - he was observing her, without saying anything at all, and even though she had supposed he would come running behind her he didn't. In some ways, she found it odd. It was hard to believe that he would let her be.She steps onto her balcony and the eerie silence gnaws its teeth in Riley's cheekbones. The smell of someone frying noodles is so faint in the air, that she wonders if someone is cooking near her.Her hand fiddles with
"I never saw anyone as I saw you,Even if the flowers dried up " [Christian]*******"Goodbye," Riley said, and the single word spilled out of her like pouring waterfalls after drought, like spools of ribbon unraveled after years of being held taut;"I want to be happy." Her voice echoed back to her into the dry, dim land, and as her breathing slowed she could feel the world slow with it. She squinted blind eyes and shifted tired feet, to move towards the chopper her fingers felt the invisible strings of the wedding ring that tethered her to Christian's world, she removed it and felt as if it disappeared into the darkness, she hoped that this decision would lead to something better:Stupid and silly. Christian murmurs to himself as he looks around her office. He came to her office the minute his staff told him. Riley had left for her office early in the morning. His head was still pounding with the hangover since he didn't even eat anything for breakfast, which also made his reactions
"Loving someone is hard. But making them believe in your love is the hardest." [Christian]*******When Riley left her cabin, to leave for home. She noticed the office was buzzing with excitement. She lifted her feet to look and found people crowding the gate. That's when she heard one of her colleagues say, "Dude that guy is so handsome, how lucky must be the woman he is here for. Ah and with such beautiful flowers. Ah, I am melting!"Riley walked fast towards the gate immediately. For some reason, she had a hunch. And it proved to be true. Making her way, in between people she walked towards him."Christian what are you doing here?" She questioned, awkwardly."Oh, I am here for you honey, to take you home of course." He said so naturally that for a moment Riley didn't respond."Ah, and these are for you." He said as he handed her the flowers she liked."Why are you giving this to me?" She was confused by his sudden behavior."Well, I wanted to make you happy so I brought these.""Se
"If you are upset with me, talk to me.Don't separate me from yourself. Why are you watching me from afar alone, it's better if you fight with me." [Christian]Riley came out of her room late. It was almost 10 am and she assumed Christian by now would have left for his office. She didn't want to meet him. Neither did she want him to spot any difference in her face even though she had covered her face with thick makeup to reduce the puffiness of her eyes. As she descended the stairs and walked toward the kitchen she found A man cooking something. When his whole back came into view, she knew who the man was, it was her husband.Christian turned around and smiled at her. "Look Honey, I learned to make your favorite Chinese food yesterday. Come and taste. I think I made it better than those restaurants you love." Riley stood motionless looking at him, like looking at a stranger. Even then she seemed beautiful to him, so seductive, so different from normal people, that he could not compre
"Hope courses through our veins, only for us to live." [Christian]Riley swallowed hard and looked at the man sitting opposite her."So, That Bastard has tricked you into his games once again!" Stuart banged the table in anger."Yes." Riley sighed softly and slumped down on the chair. After Riley left his office building she found Stuart calling her to inform her he was back in the town. Not knowing where to go she invited him to a nearby restaurant. As the great friend that he was! He immediately agreed to meet her. So here they were, sitting in the restaurants nearest to Christian's office. she just explained the whole ordeal to Stuart who now had brought the attention of others to themselves by his abrupt action."Stuart, we are in a public place," Riley said as she threw an apologetic look at other customers."Sorry." He said as he ruffled his back hair. A habit he had when he was awkward."It's okay," Riley responded, taking a sip of coffee and placing it back on the table."How
