Fourteen

The smell of delicious coffee woke me up and I opened my eyes to see we were at a drive through to buy coffee.

Marco looked over when he realized I was awake and smiled, "Perfect timing, what coffee would you like?" He asked kindly as his driving partner ordered 2 americanos.

I cleared my throat before straightening up and sitting down comfortably, they let me drift off to sleep and I was thankful for the attention given to me.

"Hot chocolate only, I can't drink coffee." I replied with a small smile and made the man in front of me raise an eyebrow but still placed my order.

The man named Marco handed me my hot chocolate with a Tuna sandwich, "You need to eat too." He said when he saw me staring at the sandwich he gave me.

"Thank you." I said before closing my mouth as I yawned widely.

As I opened the plastic and started eating, the car started moving again and I realized something.
