Chapter 73 Short on Money

In the car, Faye narrowed her eyes and said, "Solomon has to take care of Mr. Shaw Senior personally. Figure out a way so he does it for these few days."

She leaned back into her seat.

"Hm?" Cedric couldn't catch her meaning.

Faye grinned. "Just do as I say."

What else could Cedric say? He could only nod. "Okay."

But Faye wasn't done with him. "The sixth son of the Shaw family in Jorn City, huh?

"How many other identities do you have that I don't know about, Mr. Shaw?"

Cedric knew she wouldn't let this slide.

He smiled resignedly. "I'll tell you everything when I can, okay?"

"Whatever," Faye answered nonchalantly.

Cedric grew inexplicably nervous. "It's not that I'm unwilling to tell you. Things are complicated. I've barely made sense of it myself."

Faye gave him an "okay" gesture. Then, she closed her eyes and rested.

She hated family dramas, and she just watched an entire series of them on this trip.

It felt more exhausting to her than running for two miles straight. S
