Chapter 360 I'm Innocent

The captain turned his gaze toward Faye. "Ms. Brown, are you acquainted with the heir of the Cawsway family?"

Faye lazily shook her head. "I don't know him."

Acknowledging her response with a nod, the captain signaled his subordinates to bring in Hannah. Upon her entrance, Hannah immediately pointed at Faye and yelled, "It's her, it's her! She confessed to giving me that prescription."

"Officer, Mr. Cawsway, I'm truly innocent. She framed me. Sob, I'm a victim here," she pleaded.

In contrast to Matt's calm demeanor, Hannah appeared much more disheveled. Her clothes were messy, her hair unkempt, and her face worn out.

Her dramatic entrance, loudly accusing Faye, clashed with the indifferent atmosphere of the onlookers, earning her disapproving looks.

A single action could reveal a person's character. Therefore, Chief Janaway already had a poor impression of Hannah. Looking at her pitiful display, he furrowed his brow.
