Frederic was hardly in the mood for soup and stared sharply at Faye. "Start talking, Connor."

Faye sighed. "Mrs. Shaw's condition is not complicated, so treating her should be easy. Why don't you drink your soup first? Let me talk to Mrs. Shaw alone later, alright?"

"What? Why can't I listen to your conversation?" He scoffed.

Faye's lips twitched. "Considering your age, don't you think you should stop worrying so much? Just worry about the result, okay?"

"Does that mean you can cure Nadia?" Anxious, he accidentally said Nadia's name.

Nadia furrowed her brows. Feeling hopeful, she did not pay much attention to what Frederic said.

It's not the first time Frederic and Faye argued, but after all this time, he hadn't won a single time. This time was no exception.

Under Faye's relentless coercion and persuasion, he had no choice but to drink his soup obediently. Once he finished, he impatiently ushered the two women out.
