2022-06-12 09:19:38Aaahhhh....! I screeched, my voice echoing loudly in the empty cave.
Okay, so I'm sure you're probably wondering what happened right?Well, I opened my eyes slowly and only for me to see someone in a Grey hood and blue jeans trousers, starting back at me like am some kind of alien.Well, that's not what made me shout though...It was after staring at each other for what seemed to be longer than a minute, that I realized the fact that I was naked under the water, and my clothes lay in a pile at his feet.Hearing me shout, he must have been confused at first, because he only stared at me like I just grew one more head, but then he realized my clothes were at his feet and that I was probably naked under that water and then he turned his back to me...Well, at least he's a gentleman. I thought to my self while watching him cautiously, I came out of the water, and quickly grabbed my dirty clothes before yanking them back on...You can turn now I endorsed, causing him to turn abruptly and knocking me off my feet in the process.He reached out to grab me but it was too late because I fell so gracefully on my butt...'Great Keera nice first impressions.' I thought in my head, without making anymove to get up.He reached out to help me up, and I took his hand, and and he pulled me up."Hi I'm Akeera your new cave mate."After hearing what I just said, he yanked his hands like he just touched a lump of hot coal...He looked at me through his hood, which was hiding most of his face, I could only see his eyes staring at me so I tried again..."Nice meeting you." I "You are not welcome here," he said in a flat tone, with the most masculine voice I've ever heard.Well, I think, since I can't recall anything."You should leave" he added and started to walk away, leaving me standing behind, completely stunned and gawking at his retreating form.Great, what was I even thinking, I just met a stranger who could have been a terrorist or murderer on the run or something.And here I was trying to make a new acquaintance...'I mean one could only try, right?'Been stranded in a strange place would make you talk even to the animals right?, I told my self."Wait a minute though, is he for real? how can he just ask me to leave!" I exclaimed throwing my hands in the air feeling appalled.I could be the only human he's seen ever since he got here, but the first thing he did was to ask me to leave."Leave and go where exactly?" I asked no one in particular.Does he think I came here by choice or what?"What an attitude" humphI scrunched my face and asked him"Are you for real? why don't we start by how I got here, and try to know if I could actually go home." I barked at his retreating form, but he had already disappeared before I could even get all the words out.Is he for real? how can he just ask me to fucking leave, am in the middle of nowhere, and the first human I see is a complete jerk ass...Stunned, I followed him, and try to maybe make him see reasons why he should let me stay, but I couldn't find him.I was trying to figure out what to do when someone from behind me said..."Why are you still here?"I jumped, feeling my heart in my throat..."Oh my God," I shrieked before saying, "do you like have a degree in scaring people, I could have had a heart attack right here." I scolded, but he only looks at me with a flat look on his face, and shook his head like I'm some nutcase or something...He started to walk away from me again, but this time I followed him quickly..."What's your name?" I asked, but he said nothing so I decided to give him a nickname..."Uhh I'm gonna call you Mr caveman" I coaxed and he turned to glare at me..."What?! You don't wanna tell me your name" I glared back at him without blinking...'Way to go Keera being rude when you actually need his help.' My head offers, so I tried again"Okay, I'm sorry okay, but can I at least stay here until I figure out how to get out of this place?" I asked...But only to be given the silent treatment again."I will take that as a yes." Still silent.Taking a deep breath, I told myself I had to go, I will find somewhere else, anywhere...Humphing, I made my way to the exit of the cave, turning around one more time to look at the ass hole, I gave him the middle finger, then left.I'm stranded yet again, with no shelter, no food, and no clothes...I was walking, not knowing what direction to go, or what path to take...I stopped slightly, to think of what might work...Contemplating on whether or not to go back to the cave or to just keep going forward...Going back seemed to be a better option unless am willing to spend the night outside, as it seems the sun is about to set and I don't see anything close...Well, if you look at things from the bright side, I could sleep while staring at the stars..."Uhh who am I kidding?"I could get eaten by a wolf or lion, and just the thought of it made me shudder.Just when I was about to turn and go back, I felt as if something or someone was behind me.My heart started to pound, I put my hand on my chest, my long-forgotten headache returning...I was so terrified to the extent that I was frozen to the spot I stood...Oh my God, now am surely gonna get eaten alive I fretted...Related chapters
